"We really enjoyed our stay here. We saw wild turkeys right outside the house. We enjoyed hiking and seeing all of the wildlife tracks. And then to make it even more spectacular we are driving away from the house and we saw a herd of wild horses! The home is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your home."

"This is my second time at this beautiful home. My best description is "It's the best of both worlds! The beach is just a short walk or you can catch the trolley. It was enjoyable to watch all that nature has to offer right in your backyard. Mornings and evenings were spent sound front, and during the day, we were at the beach. The backyard is spacious and private and there is so much to see. We enjoyed kayaking in the sound, watching the ospreys and fishing. The views are amazing! Sounds Like Fun is definitely the best location in all of Corolla Light. This community has so much to offer. Perfect place to vacation with tweens and teens. There is plenty to do withing walking distance to keep them busy. This house is well appointed and has everything that you need. Check-in was extremely easy. I would return to this beautiful home again. Within a short walk to several eateries and ice cream shops (a must for pizza lovers is Cosmo's!). Bicycles, 2 kayaks, several beach chairs and crab traps were provided. We did utilize the beach services offered and had chairs and umbrellas set up for our group daily. Food service is offered during peak season on the beach, it was so nice to have a sandwich or a nice cold drink brought right to you as you relax on the beach! Pricing was reasonable. Food Lion is the best grocery and only 3 miles away. Wine lovers will enjoy the Wednesday wine tastings at the Whalehead Club (and it is right next door). The lighthouse and nature center were also highlights during our stay. You really only need a car to travel to the grocery!!! Never once did our group hear from the kids (ages 7-17) any complaints. There are more than enough activities for them to enjoy! The owners take pride in their property and it shows!"

"We stayed at this condo for a week during Holy Week and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The main attraction here is the pools. If you have children, this is definitely the place to stay as the pools are heated to different temps to suit any preference and even though they were not zero depth entry, each pool had large platform or cut-out areas (20 x 20 feet at least) where kids could walk and play in the shallower water (varying from a few inches deep to maybe 2 feet deep) without always being held by a parent. This was an amazing bonus for my 4 and 6 year old who want to be more independent in the pool.
The condo pictures were accurate and everything was very nice. The bed was really comfortable, the futon was more comfortable than a pull-out couch, and the kitchen had everything you needed. The hot tub on the balcony was clean, filled quickly and had a nice view. The balcony is deeper than other units in the complex so we definitely did not feel cramped out there and ate almost all of our meals out there enjoying the incredible view.
Mary Ann was great to deal with and was available at a moment's notice. Security deposit returned promptly.
There are lots of friendly condo staff constantly monitoring the pool areas and parking garage so nobody is sneaking in to use the pools, etc. There is someone working the front gate 24 hours a day, too. Felt extremely safe. This property is not a spring break party place if that is what you are looking for. We were not which made this place perfect.
The beach here was calm in the mornings (we did some stand up paddleboarding on two mornings) and you can see dolphins swimming about. It did get deep rather quickly, though. We took a day trip to the south side of PV and caught a boat out of Boca de Tomatlon (park in town for 50 pesos, round trip boat ride to the beach for 200 pesos) to a tamer, absolutely gorgeous beach (Colomitos Beach) for some snorkeling. Paid an extra 350 pesos to have the guy take us over to Los Arcos before going back to our car. Considering what you pay per person for tours out to those spots, using a local is definitely worth it.
If you're cooking on your own, there is a Costco and a WalMart within a 3 minute drive. The grill on the balcony was new as well and easy to use. The best place to eat in the area is called Sonora's (look it up on Yelp) and is on the right side of the road on the way to Costco. It is a butcher shop by day and the food is outstanding."
