  • We couldn't have wished for anything better!

"Beautiful view onto the water from all sides of the house's expansive windows. Lovely and well-maintained house with deck on 2 sides and dock in the back. Very comfortable beds, woke up every morning to a breathtaking scene of the ocean. About 15 minutes to Brunswick and shopping, and 25 minutes to public beach. Lots of nature preserves in the area, Portland about 30 minutes driving distance. Ideal! Thank you so much, Amy and Dan, for a trip we will never forget!"

  • Wonderful stay in Ambergris Caye!

"We just returned from our wonderful trip to Belize and I'm already missing it. This house was perfect for us and our two teenaged kids, a boy and a girl. Each bedroom has 2 Twin beds that can be separated or kept together as a King. Somehow the beds don't separate if you put them together, so there's no falling through the crack and the beds were very comfy. The views of the gorgeous turquoise colored water were amazing and we loved having our own dock to hang out on. This also made it easy for boats to come pick us up for excursions we booked. We did not rent a golf cart and I really don't think one is necessary. We would take the Coastal Express water taxi when we needed to get into town (only twice). The Mata Grande grocery store is an easy walk and although it's small they have all the basics you need. Next door to the grocery store is Aurora's restaurant. It has great breakfasts and lunch at a very reasonable price. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need, but I do wish it had a basic spice cupboard. Other than that, no complaints. The best part of our stay at Castillo de Arena was having William, the caretaker around. He was at the dock to greet us when our water taxi arrived and was so helpful in giving advice about the island. He showed our teenaged son how to spear fish which was the highlight of his trip and he also showed us the best spots to kayak out to and snorkel. On our second to last night William gave us an awesome coconut demonstration for his coconut rice recipe. He also barbecued some fish and lobster that the guys caught during their spear fishing adventures. We really enjoyed our stay at this house and look forward to returning again, hopefully next year!"

  • Great stay

"We had a lot of fun at this Condo. For two adults and two children under the age of 6, this one bedroom condo suited our needs. We were able to fit a pack and play in the bedroom with us. This unit is on the end of building 3 and is very quiet with a nice view of the lazy river and Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede. This resort complex is great. The indoor pool and workout facilities were perfect for us. Location is perfect as it is a quarter mile off of the busy Pigeon Forge strip. Bed, kitchen and bathroom amenities were clean and in great shape."

  • AWESOME

"I stayed at this place in May with my boyfriend, sister and best friend. We knew we were getting two bedrooms but had no idea it was two master bedrooms. This sealed the deal for us. Above that, the price was beyond reasonable. You usually hear people say " you get what you paid for " but in this case we got more than what we paid for. I woke up to a view of the mariner every day. We were literally walking distance from the beach and mall. We were walking distance but drove to the nearest Publix, where we got our groceries to cook at the house. You get a FULL kitchen. Man, I am just disappointed that someone else gets the chance to enjoy this beautiful, cozy and relaxing apartment for 4th of July and Labor Day. I would stay there a million times again. Let us not forget how helpful and professional Alistair is. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enjoy your place Alistair."
