  • Winter Get-a-Way

"We spent two months in this home and enjoyed our stay. It is close to grocery stores, drug stores, and other critical outlets. With four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it is ideal for large families or big groups."

  • BEST RENTAL HOME IN HOOD RIVER

"It was a pleasure to work with Kim. Her home is beautifully maintained and very inviting. The landscaping is immaculate and the views from the front porch and tree house loft are spectacular. The Adirondak chairs and hammock were so comfortable all 3 generations in our party wanted to sleep in them. We enjoyed lazy mornings on the front porch sipping coffee while gazing at a snowcapped Mt. Adams, the Columbia river, and once in awhile a train could be seen chugging along in the background. It is a storybook setting. The main house is spacious, yet cozy. We truly felt like we were 'coming home' at the end of each day. The kitchen and bath were well stocked. The amenities were also a nice touch, from luxury soaps and candles to super soft and comfy linens and towels. The tree house loft exceeded expectations as a retreat space. The groom spent the night before his wedding in the loft and was relaxed as recharged for the big day. The backyard is also a serene space to enjoy the clean, crisp air. The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to downtown with lovely shops, restaurants and breweries in one direction and a short drive to the grocery store in the other. This home made our first visit to Hood River a memorable one. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you, Kim, for giving us a such a beautiful backdrop for a milestone event and turning us on to the beauty of Hood River."

  • Our Happy Place

"We've rented on Thompson Lake for nearly a decade. This was our first summer in this house, and we feel like we've finally found our summer home. We look forward to returning for many years to come. We found the house was in pristine condition when we arrived. The owner's personal commitment to the home is evident in large and small ways, from the well built tasteful home, to the providing of great sheets, towels, beach towels and PFD's. The master-bedroom suite including bedroom, bathroom, two closets and direct access by way of a sliding door to the screened in porch is phenomenal. The upstairs jack and jill bedrooms and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen/great room area is large and accommodating with every amenity a person may need down to the cozy fleece blanket to cover you while you nap on the couch. The kitchen and grill are terrific. We ate in more this vacation than we ever have before -- bringing in steamed clams and lobsters from the Naples Lobster Pound on Route 302 in nearby Naples, taking advantage of the grill, and even baking homemade blueberry and raspberry pies with just-picked-by-us berries from Goss Berry Farm in nearby Mechanic Falls. The home is well suited for a couple looking for a relaxing blissful week on Thompson Lake to get away from it all, and equally well suited for hosting a family looking for Maine-lake fun and adventure. Thompson Lake is a jewel, and the property's location is ideal for swimming, sailing, kayaking/canoeing, motor boating or just sitting on the dock watching the loons go by -- and we did it all! Go see Guy at Thompson Lake Marina to rent a speed boat for tubing and water skiing or to rent a pontoon boat for a more relaxing tour of the lake. Call Mike and Mo at Sebago Sailing to rent a Sunfish sailboat for your stay. Mike will bring the Sunfish to the property and there is a mooring for the sailboat right by the swim float. Use the property's kayaks and canoe. Or just float in the lake. The owners are a pleasure to deal with -- responsive, caring and considerate, and interested in you enjoying their home and having a great vacation. We look forward to returning in 2015, 2016, 2017 ..."

  • Once again, everything we could have asked for

"This is our third time in four years renting from Curt. I think that is testimonial enough! Our kids love the condo and the pool and we enjoy the close proximity to the parks and restaurants. Thanks again, Curt!"
