  • Wonderful week away with friends

"We visit Lake Sammamish every year from Australia and decided to rent our own place rather then staying with friends. It was an amazing week! We have even booked for 2015. The house has a beautiful view of the lake and the rooms and facilities are great. We spent most of our time outside by the pool house which has all the necessities such as fridge, dishwasher, bar area and BBQ. The Jacuzzi was great for relaxing after a full day of wake surfing on the lake. Brian, the owner, is chilled and very accommodating. If you are looking for a getaway with friends or family with kids I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to our next visit!"

  • Spring Break 2015

"Had a nice stay in Mid March with 11 family members. Nice house in a good location for a relaxing stay. Beach, pool, st Augustine, Daytona, cape canaveral and orlando all provided daily activities for family members. Some add'l observations that weren't mentioned in earlier reviews: 1 ocean view is no longer the same as most lots across street now have houses built; 2 community gate requires car to check in each time you return; 3. Publix market is very close by for food and supplies; 4 there is a $2 toll bridge nearby consider a multi-visit discounted pass upon arrival. Suggestions for rental company: 1first night starter package w coffee, filters, salt, pepper, etc would be nice; 2 providing five or six beach towels would enhance; 3. Found broom but no dust pan. Also, Never had a need to contact company for service. Everything in the home worked as expected. Pool/spa remote was unique but figured it out."

  • GREAT accommodations and access to the slopes that could not be easier!!

"The Grand Lodge was the perfect location for our family ski vacation New Year's week 2015. The accommodations are truly 5 Star and all of the amenities exceeded our expectations! The underground parking has easy elevator access and the ski equipment lockers near the exit to the lifts save so much time and energy! The ski in/ski out and the runs on Peak 7 met all of our skiing needs - we were a diverse family group with beginner, experienced and senior skiers ages 3 to 60+! Access to the entire mountain and all the peaks was easy via the Gondola right outside the lodge! This 2 bedroom unit was spacious and slept 8 very comfortably. One of the 2 sofa-sleepers was located in a semi-private suite area with a "mini-kitchen" that even included a cook-top and small dishwasher that complimented the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. We ordered pizza delivered poolside from the lodge restaurant while we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. Service was outstanding! The owner of this condo was excellent to work with and was very helpful by offering valuable tips that enhanced our stay. This was one of the best family ski vacations we have experienced! We will definitely consider staying at Grand Lodge on future trips!"

  • Near surf heaven

"Exelent place, for advanced, surfers, windsurfers and kite surfers located at lanes, just before mama's beach and hookipa at a walking distance. Pa'ia is a 5 min drive but you need a car anyway because the island and surrounding ocean a too impressive to ignore when you're only there for surfing. the place has al you need and is very spacious. And Greg the owner is very helpful if you need to find your way around the surfspots. And Paula is the best host you can wish for and is the living example of what Aloha is☺"
