  • Beachfront & Affordable

"We didn't go to SPI to spend a lot a time in the room, so this rental was a great place to be able to walk right onto the beach. It's a basic efficiency, but it's clean and had all we needed for our short stay. Fully stocked kitchenette with full size fridge has all appliances including a hot plate. Pull-out trundle bed made it comfortable for 2 to sleep and roll away during the day for more room to walk around. Would definitely book here again."

  • absolutely perfect!!

"i can't even say enough about our week stay at Peter and Beverly's Sapphire Beach condo...!! location, perfect...everything inside, perfect...the weather while there, perfect...the snorkeling, perfect... this condo is stocked with every single thing you can think of, including candles and binoculars!! and of course snorkeling gear and noodles! there is nothing they haven't thought of!! the inside is as beautiful as the outside!! we so loved our nights on the balcony sipping wine or fruity frozen drinks made in the best blender i've ever had on vacation, candles flickering, the sound of gentle waves and the lights of St. John in the distance...this is not a commercial looking beach..it's small, feels personal, and is absolutely gorgeous... i leterally cried almost every morning there at the sheer beauty of it all... just watching the pelicans diving every morning was another favorite way to start our day...it was also super easy to catch the $1 safari into Red Hook to catch the ferry into St. John, as well as just enjoying what became some of our favorite places right in Red Hook...Peter was always very quick and helpful to answer any question i had before our arrival and having Smitty pick us up from the airport, stop at the grocery store, and take us back the day of departure was also just perfect!! this was truly a magical vacation for us and we so can't wait to go back!! we have caught island fever and i don't want a cure!!"

  • Wonderful family vacation home

"This house was fabulous. It was so comfortable, well maintained and well appointed. Our family members - ranging from ages 5 to 71 - were each happy and enjoyed the accommodations. The walk to the beach was short and enjoyable and the "town" was a 5 minute walk as well. The pool was clean and relaxing and the backyard so picturesque. We would definitely return. The owner was so easy to work with and responsive. There was a problem with the upstairs air unit the second day of our stay and she immediately responded, making sure the problem was addressed ASAP ... A new AC unit was installed within 24 hours of my email to her! I highly recommend this house to a vacationing family or group of women."

  • Could not have been better!

"I had the pleasure of staying in this little casita for two weeks this fall. The house was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was completely equipped, and there was even a laundry room with washer and dryer. The thick adobe walls of this old house created a feeling of security, safety and comfort. Even though the house is nearly 100 years old, it is well maintained and obviously loved, having been in the family for generations. The location was quiet, nestled near the Rio Grande and surrounded by mountains; yet it was relatively close to urban centers as well (Espanola, Taos, Santa Fe). Tom and his wife were warm, friendly hosts and made our stay there special -- for example, our very first discovery upon entering the house was a plate of freshly picked tomatoes and grapes from their garden! They gave us all the time, space and privacy we needed yet were always available to answer any questions we had. Tom even took the time to introduce us to some of his artistic neighbors and to show us some of the sights in the area. By the time we left, I felt we had made new friends. This is definitely a place I will visit again."
