5 stars from a 30A regular! Great house, great location!
"Our family comes to the 30A area at least once a year (October is the BEST time). We came with our 2 teenagers, a couple of teenagers in tow, and my 81 year old mother. The property owner was VERY helpful and quick to respond. The house is great and what you would expect from the area. We didn't cook much but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Well furnished with great bed linens in the master. The master closet is huge and could easily accommodate a blow up mattress. Twin beds in both bedrooms downstairs may not be desirable for some, but it worked out great for us. The younger teenagers were fine with twin beds and my mom is not picky and didn't have to deal with steps. The older teenagers loved the carraige house and privacy. The best things about this house are the porch and the location. The porch is HUGE and very comfy. We knew a lot of people traveling down for fall break and each day we would start the day on the porch in our pajamas with friends riding by on bikes and visiting. So fun! This house is in a part of Watercolor that is closer to everything so all the families staying in the further parts of Watercolor were passing it on their way to the beach or shops. It was close enough that my mom could walk down (2 blocks) by herself and sit at the cheese and wine shop or stroll through the shops while we were at the beach. Watercolor, Seaside and Seagrove are wonderful areas if you have never been-you need to go. You literally park your car and ride bikes everywhere. You will only get in your car to drive to restaurants. The beaches are beautiful and the water is magnificent. My husband is a serious fisherman and has so many options very close by."

"This was our second stay in this lovely home. It has worked perfectly for us to gather family and friends who, in our case, live in both New York and Boston (Mystic is about 2 hours drive from each). The home is open and airy and spacious, inviting guests to enjoy the many wonderful spots within the house. For us, the breakfast room was a favorite with direct water views and a big round table for playing games. We also love the little enclaves in the master bedrooms to read and watch the sunrise. The home is conveniently located to everything in town yet set far enough away that it feel like a real retreat. The homeowner is kind and responsive and very accommodating. We look forward to coming back soon!"

First family vacation since 2001 and deffinately not our last
"Thank you so much for renting us your unit #601 at the Caribbean resort in myrtle beach. Our family of 10 (seven adults and three kids 6-4-2) were pleasantly surprised by its size and comforts. The water slide along with all the pools and beach made for a fun time for all. When our air conditioner stopped working during the night, your repair man was fairly prompt (even though my husband found the problem before he arrived). The owners were very helpful and patient with me since this was the first time planning something this big in a while and I didn't want to be disapointed. Our stay was everything that was promised. We had a blast. Now if you can help control the weather for next year so that we don't have any rain--------we would appreciate it!!!! (the condo was so nice that even in spite of the one drizzly day, we all had fun around the kitchen table playing cards). Thank you so much for allowing us to make great memories at Myrtle Beach again."

"We had a marvelous time at this wonderful country retreat. It is located just minutes from downtown Coudersport, yet completely private and in the country. The house easily accommodated the twelve adults and two children. The grounds outside featured play areas for the kids and a lovely garden. The internet was flawless. There was available TV and a plethora of books to occupy anyone. I would highly recommend this very complete hideaway to anyone planning a stay in the Coudersport area for any year round activity. We certainly plan on staying here for our next visit to Coudersport."
