  • GREAT LOCATION, GREAT PROPERTY, GREAT MANAGER!!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property manager and staff were super helpful in booking the rental. The property was even better than pictured, lots of open space, loft area fabulous for kids, large kitchen with bar, large bathroom with tons of storage, and washer & dryer inside the house! Rental is close to 2 pools including the awesome Gulf front pool, shops, restaurants, and short stroll to Seaside as well. Tons of bikes provided, a nice grill, and the pool table was a great bonus! Will be back, cannot recommend this location enough! Almost forgot, pup friendly too!!"

  • Perfect Honeymoon Stay!

"I don’t even know where to begin. My new husband and I spent half of our honeymoon split between two of Lilia and Guido’s properties along the Italian coast. Our relationship with Lilia began about 9 months prior to our visit: she was an absolute pleasure to work with and, though we decided to book right away, she graciously provided guidance throughout the months leading up to our stay. Upon our arrival, it was immediately clear that we had made the right decision. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, and the location could not have been more picturesque. We didn’t take advantage of Lilia’s homemade meals, but were treated to pesto, homegrown veggies and honey from their farm. Lilia, Guido and Guilia were such generous hosts—full of helpful information, always willing to lend a hand or offer a ride, and were simply a pleasure to spend time with. We loved the close proximity to the Cinque Terre, but found that we enjoyed the surrounding areas very much, too! We found ourselves very emotional to be leaving on our final day, but are sure we will find ourselves in Italy AND staying with Lilia again one day! Be sure to consider their Portofino property, too—you won’t be disappointed!"

  • Great for large group - lots of beds & HUGE grounds to roam

"We had barn house & farmhouse. Since we mostly had adults in the farmhouse, it was always quiet there. The farmhouse has all window air conditioners (that only worked so-so) & ceiling fans. The barnhouse has the kitchen & all the living and eating areas plus full bathrooms on the main floor & upstairs. The vast majority of the barnhouse is rough-hewn wooden beams which makes it virtually indestructible. Compared to other rentals where I worry the kids might damage something, the barnhouse was great for the kids to play and run with no worries. There was 1 queen bed in the laundry room behind the kitchen on the main floor. Upstairs were 3 private bedrooms (2 with queen beds and 1 with a queen and a twin). There was also a big dormitory-style bunk room with 8 bunks that worked well for filling up with kids. The upstairs also has lots of tables & seating. Mostly the kids used it for playing board & card games or sitting on the sofas to watch TV. There was also a long bar where we sat & talked one evening. Plus there was an area with a very long table & chairs. We didn’t eat there but did move them out to make a big open space for our square dance. Elk Ridge Ranch is quite isolated from neighbors which made it nice so we could be as noisy as we wanted and not worry that we were bothering anyone. Also it was comforting to know the kids could run all around and there were no busy streets or hazards like a swimming pool. There is no place for bigger kids to ride bikes or skooters since all the driving surfaces are gravel - though small kids can ride trikes on the sidewalk. The wifi doesn’t always work; comes and goes. Adults enjoyed walking over to golf & to fish on the grounds. We also had a lot of fun sitting on the wooden benches around bonfires in a giant wire basket. We paid Dave, the owner, to take all of us on a hay ride. It was fun & he let the kids take turns helping him drive the tractor. They loved that. Our group also enjoyed going to the pioneer village at Spring Mill State Park, Holiday World Amusement & Water Park, deluxe golfing at Sultan’s Run, the French Lick casino, and swimming at a beach at Patoka Lake. We were lucky the big Stassenfest Festival was going on in Jasper when we were there. There were more things in the area that we wanted to do but ran out of time so will have to wait for our return to Elk Ridge Ranch."

  • perfect!

"My siblings and I took our mother to the Adirondacks for the weekend as a small reunion. My mom is 86 and was born in Paul Smiths so this was a trip that held a lot of meaning for us all and finding this wonderful home on Lake Flower was the icing on the cake. It could not have been more comfortable. The bedrooms were really nice (with higher quality linens than you would expect (including very nice down comforters), plenty of towels, the fireplace was divine, and the space was large enough so we could all be in the same house but not on top of each other. It was an easy and very nice walk (sidewalks all the way) to downtown as well. It was also very quiet at night and the neighbors were also quiet. Felt completely safe and cozy."
