  • Best vacation rental ever.

"I can speak highly enough about our stay at this condo. It is not only clean and comfortable and roomy but is also very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and more. The living room and bedrooms were outfitted with remote control ceiling fans, & full size washer and dryer too. Perfect right down to the granite kitchen counter top and shower thresholds, snorkle gear and boogie boards are in the closet as well. Shopping is walking distance away with a nice Saturday market. Swimming is walking distance too. Again I cannot speak highly enough of this condo and we're looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Kona. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience."

  • Excellent location, incredible paradisiacal feeling!

"We stayed at Potopoto for three unforgettable weeks, we came at the end of June when the weather can be rainy or cloudy, instead we got super clear blue skies during the day and fresh rainy nights. The renting transaction was very pleasant communication with the owner was fast and clear throughout. In the house you can immediately notice that the owners have paid attention to detail on the services and utilities it offers. The pool was well maintained and recently cleaned. The grass, palms and gardens were all very good taken care of. What is important to notice is that the rooms were cleaned every morning, and changed sheets every 3 days, each room has its own bathroom which makes a huge difference to other houses in the Costa del Sol. The setup of the house has a bit of a camping ground (ranch) feeling, where you feel the beach and the palms the whole day. The kitchen and eating place sits next to the pool, and the beach literally 50mts. from the pool, this for us was the greatest plus of the house. We will definitely come back, I hugely recommend PotoPoto!"

  • Great location and views!

"Property was clean, spacious, and well equipped. It had an amazing view of the beach. Only a few minor repairs that were needed to some of the condo's fixtures. Overall, great property in walking distance to the beach."

  • Great home and fun area...

"What a fabulous retreat from the cold and snow we would have been experiencing had we stayed up north! Instead of shoveling snow, we spent almost every evening watching the sun set while enjoying the nice hot spa. (It was a little cool for me to use the heated pool, although if we'd had kids with us, I'm sure they would have loved it!) This is a home that we could live in year round - the nicest vacation rental that we've come across, so far. Although we didn't need all the space (there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms), we very much enjoyed the large TV, cushy sofas, and good-sized master bedroom with attached bathroom. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels, and a nice washer and dryer. The house and the neighborhood seemed very pet friendly. There were folks out in the neighborhood walking their dogs, riding their bikes, and taking their boat out in the canal. There were a couple "resident" pelicans that we watched fishing in the canal most days. It didn't take us long to find several good restaurants in Palmetto (Riverhouse Reef and Grill for a special meal; Kostas or Popi's for breakfast or casual family dining) and Bradenton and beyond - plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy a nice meal. There's a good-sized outlet mall a few miles away, and plenty of "Florida" shopping in neighboring cities. We drove over to the gulf beaches a couple times and visited several Farmer's Markets (we liked Sarasota's) and Flea Markets (Red Barn in Bradenton). We loved visiting the Ringling Museums (especially the Circus Museums). We even spent a day at Busch Gardens! Lots of fun things to do in the area; you do need a car to take in all the possibilities."
