  • A Special Place to Enjoy 25th Anniversary

"My wife and I really enjoyed staying here because of the beautiful views at sunrise, throughout the day, and at sunset. It was more secluded than a lot of the options and provided a special sense on just the two of us in this amazing environment. Having lived only in the US midwest, knew nothing about marine life but we thoroughly enjoyed all of the days of snorkeling, especially at Carlos Rosario. My wife especially enjoyed relaxing on the beaches. We would hike to a beach like Brava or Resaca and be the sole spectators of the amazing beauty. Culebra has a "community" culture that was a refreshing complement to the beautiful surroundings. Not being a major tourist center in the Caribbean, it retains the blessing of locally-owned businesses that we really appreciated. If you are seeking a high-end vacation with homogeneous and pristine facilities then perhaps another island is the choice for you. The house was pleasant and our hosts were very kind and informative about the island. Whenever a need arose, they quickly found a solution. There were nice windows with screens to let in a cool breeze. The bed was comfortable, including memory foam or some similar material. Basic appliances and a grill were helpful for us to prepare an occasional romantic home dinner. The weather was nice there as usual. Time slowed down!"

  • A great place to stay if you want to get away from the daily grind!

"My wife and I made this our little getaway for our 3rd year wedding anniversary. Of course we also brought of little Shi-Tzu Poodle Thor. We all had a great time in the quiet surroundings and soaked up the scenery, wildlife, and the hot tub. We witnessed bald eagle in their natural environment along with a host of great blue herons. We highly recommend the use of the canoe for a nice little trip on the lake. It was a great time for my wife and I to reconnect and reflect on how far we have come in just 3 short years as a married couple. This location and the little getaway were just what we needed to recharge."

  • Great location, comfortable condo

"We had a great time here. My husband and I rented the place along with my parents, and it worked well for us. Having the extra beds was nice because my brother was able to stay for one night before his wedding. We enjoyed being close to the resort and walked over to the beaches, jogged on the trails and ate at the restaurants there daily. The place seemed hot the first night but was fine once we had acclimated- the breezes helped a lot! We were happy to have beach towels and snorkeling sets available as well. We just walked over and used them on the resort propert- all in all, a great rental. The owner was also very helpful and easy to work with."

  • Great location and fun house!

"We had so much fun on this trip to Tahoe! The house is located about 1 minute drive away from Heavenly's California Lodge (a block and a half away), but unless you are a college student or without ski gear you don't want to walk. Just a few minutes drive away from the casinos and fun on Stateline (and the grocery store). Kitchen was great, but beware there isn't a spice rack or condiments in the fridge. There is a grill off the kitchen which is nice. Cable TV in the living room. Books and puzzles and games. LOVE the foosball table. Played cards a few nights on the huge dining room table. Plenty of hot water for showers (even after 4 showers In a row). Washer and dryer with detergent provided. Awesome decks and fireplace. Obstructed lake view from back deck, but you can't get it all! No TVs in 2 of the bedrooms which was a bummer a couple of nights, but not a deal breaker. Very attentive owner and property manager. We would stay here again! We primarily skied Heavenly, snowmobiles one day, went to Tahoe City one day which was fun (great photo ops along the way), and hung out by the base of the gondola other days. Went to the Keys, but it wasn't anything special in our opinion. Only about an hour and 15 min from Reno airport (and there is a Walmart and two In N Out burgers along the way)."
