Casa de Artes is the perfect vacation rental, just steps away from the Pacific in Club Santiago. Casa de Artes was designed by sculptor Joe Rowe. The house is spacious filled with sunlight and cooled by ocean breezes. The house is simply and comfortably furnished. The sculpture of Joe Rowe and the paintings by Sylvia Laks enhance the interiors.
This unusual 4500 square foot villa may be rented in many different configurations. Casa de Artes is , two-story home located in the lovely landscaped Club Santiago. This spacious home can accommodate groups as large as eight people. Its size and common areas make it perfect for retreats, seminars, or large groups of family and friends. We no longer rent the entire house only the ground floor. The ground floor can be rented in many confguirations from a single room with private bath to a four bedroom three bathroom apartment.
Our guests have use of the Club Santiago Beach Club on Playa Miramar. THE BEACH IS A THREE MINUTE WALK FROM THE HOUSE. The Beach Club has a swimming pool, shower, changing rooms, sun deck, as well as a restaurant and bar.
Club Santiago is a private gated community ten miles north of the city of Manzanillo. Club Santiago is on Santiago Bay and Playa Miramar a three mile long beach perfect for long walks and jogging. Playa Miramar is by far the best beach in the area, it offers waves high enough for surfing at one end and a calm beach for toddlers at the other. There is a sunken ship good for diving and snorkeling. Club Santiago has its own Golf Course and Tennis courts.
The area is less developed than Puerta Vallarta, Cancun or Acapulco. There is less night life and few big hotels here, it’s perfect for a quiet beach vacation. There is a good selection of restaurants serving everything from French and Italian food to local taco stands and family style Mexican restaurants. Other Golf Courses are nearby and boats are available for the best deep sea fishing on Mexico’s West coast.
The town of Santiago is ten minutes away by bus or cab. Santiago has a market for fresh fish and vegetables, a typical Mexican plaza, souvenir stores, clothing shops, movie theater, laundromat, and restaurants.
