About Ken Paterson
My name is Ken Paterson married to Yvonne. We do not own this property; it is owned by close Portuguese friends. We now handle the bookings for them in the UK and commenced doing so from January 2019. I work in Financial services as the Compliance & Risk Director for a major national Independent Financial Adviser. Yvonne is an office manager with an estate agent, previously with a major high street bank and IBM. We bought our first apartment, as it happens in this apartment block at Villa Rosal 12 years ago, so we know this apartment and the area inside out. In 2009 we sold the apartment and bought a villa, which is also listed on HomeAway, check it out at reference 8156554. Here you can read the reviews previous guests have written about our own villa but will also give you an idea about the excellent service we provide. We pride ourselves on the service we provide as we want to give a service we would expect. Part of the service are the local Villa Managers, Nuno and Rogerio. Often property owners ask guests to arrive at a property and a key is under the mat or in a security box; we think is is awful. You are met by Nuno or Rogerio and you will be provided with their contact details before arrival; this way you have a point of contact if you get lost, experience delays or just need some comfort to find your way around. If like us you want peace and quiet but close to everything then this apartment really does provide it.

Why Ken Paterson chose Sesmarias
The apartment is in a quiet location, so away from the noisy tourist areas. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars within walking distance and you can walk into Albufeira (25 minutes via the Albufeira Marina). If you don't want to hire a car then everything is on the doorstep but taxis and buses pose no problem. Airport transfers can be arranged if you wish.
What makes this Apartment unique
Peace and quiet in a top quality apartment without having to put up with the noise of living in a tourist area. It is secure and safe. We have a local villa manager that will meet you and take you to the apartment. He will also deal with any problems, arrange maid service, change of bed linen etc. and also book any excursions or golf etc. He is only a call away. Unlike some other apartments the pool is very large and there is loads of patio space as well as the private terrace.

Rental payments will not refunded unless the dates can be re-booked. Essential therefore to have holiday insurance with a cancellation policy.
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
You will find everything you require and if you need anything a call to the Villa Manager is all that's needed for advice and guidance on any matter.
