Waikiki Beach Club, Great 2BD, free wifi, free pkg and stunning ocean vistas.

Waikiki Beach Club is a great place to stay. Safe, secure and close to shopping and restaurants and the BEACH! Definitely would recommend others to stay at the Waikiki Beach Club. Mahalo!

Great communication with the owner. Good location. A very short walk to beach and centre of Waikiki. Apartment lacking a few essentials like a kettle to boil water. Agree with previous reviewer. The windows need curtains to block out light. Also the toilet still not fixed. It is very annoying and makes a lot of noise as well as running continually. A fair bit of traffic noise. Otherwise great air conditioning, comfortable beds and good value for what you pay.

The condo was in good condition with new living room furniture. Only complaints was the toilet kept running and the beds were very hard. The location was good and included parking which was a big plus. They could have provided more essentials like more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. We were able to walk to everything in the Waikiki area, beach was a few blocks away. And the owners were very helpful and responsive!

We generally had a good time here (parents and a 3 year old). I would give it 3.5 stars if that were possible. It is on a high floor which somewhat minimized the street noise, and the air conditioning worked well. You can walk to Waikiki beach in about 10 minutes, and it's only a few minutes walk to the Waikiki "Pink Line" trolley service.

There are a couple very inexpensive home goods that are missing from this apartment. #1 is definitely the lack of curtains. There are only sheer curtains, which don't keep the light out at all, provides little privacy, and generally keeps the apartment much hotter during the day (requiring more use of A/C - not very efficient especially given the high cost of electricity in HI). If you want to get up at dawn and never take a nap, or even rest in a cool dark room, then you are fine with just the sheer curtains. I feel like this will never change based on owner's comments ("most people go surfing early in the morning")?!?. Also, no ice cube trays were provided - this was a head scratcher for us, especially after being told that it "wasn't a cost thing"..."most people just buy a bag of ice". We had issues with a few of the items there, leaking inside the fridge, non-working garbage disposal, broken ceiling fan, running toilet, etc.

Owner was very responsive to our concerns and had someone to fix the toilet within an hour. However that fix did not last as the day later we had the same problem again. Plenty of towels, linens, and cooking utensils were provided. However the only condiments provided were salt and pepper and white vinegar.

I almost forgot about the DIY wiring of the ceiling fans (one of which didn't work). The ceiling fans are wired up with orange extension cords LOL I saw similar things when we went to SE Asia but never in USA before...

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo had everything we needed as well as had some nice little extras. Even some condiments ! Lots of thought has been put into what guests need and we really appreciated it. We had 3 adults and 2 girls- lots of room. Loved the balcony and view and we even got a fabulous view of the fireworks in the harbour one night. Amazing! New updates to the room, nice and clean . 2 Air conditioners worked well. Free Parking was great to have. Kids liked the pool and hot tub too. Close walk to everything in Waikiki. We will definitely stay again! Thanks for a great stay.
