Susan or Martin Smith
About Susan or Martin Smith
As a child my husband visited this area and we visited it with a caravan until settling for a permanent property here. We are retired teachers who have constantly updated and renewed the chalet. The oak floor in the living area was installed in 2017 and has been much admired.
Susan or Martin Smith purchased this Chalet in 1974
Why Susan or Martin Smith chose Kilkhampton
The location with a view towards Coombe Valley and the coast gives us beautiful sunsets. The open space in front of the chalet has been a play area for children and grandchildren over the years.

Nice property in good location
Property had everything we needed for our week's stay. Very clean and well presented.
Lovely site and chalet
Lovely chalet had everything thing you needed
The chalet was perfect & we enjoyed our time down Cornwall.. I would stay here again if I was too return (& I do plan on it in the future at some point).
Clean economical and site facilities for food and entertainment
Enjoyable stay with plenty to do on site
Home from home
We had an enjoyable stay in this property. It was warm and comfortable with everything that was needed. We also enjoyed the facilities within Penstowe Manor such as the pool, bars and restaurant. Would recommend.
Short Summer Break
We visit in term time so not many children or parents, very peaceful just what we were looking for. The only thing we found a little puzzling was no map of the site at the gates.
Sally and Ken
We send a detailed map to guests who give us their address.
Clovelly is a steep village with no traffic down the main street, (except a donkey pulled sledge if someone moves house).
Tintagel with its King Arthur connections and nearby Boscastle with its amazing harbour.
Trebarwyth beach is lovely and Port Isaac where Doc Martin was filmed are both lovely places to visit.
