Beautiful Beachfront Villa in a Gated Community, Private Pool/Bar, Fully Staffed

The HOME AT LAST Villa is a fully staffed 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath upscale villa in the secure, gated community of The Lagoons in the Montego Freeport, Montego Bay. Our villa is only 20 minutes from the Montego Bay airport, and just a few minutes away from the world renowned Montego Bay Yacht Club, The Houseboat Restaurant and Secrets Resort.

Our villa, which is located on the Caribbean and is Covid 19 Certified, is furnished with modern amenities, luxurious spa-style bathrooms, air conditioning in every bedroom, and a truly Caribbean feel. Two of the bedrooms have breathtaking views of the sea from their own private veranda.

The villa opens up to a large veranda overlooking the Caribbean; which is perfect for entertaining, a romantic dinner or simply kicking back enjoying our famous rum punch. Each day's sunset is different, and is something wonderful to witness!

The manicured grounds feature a heated, infinity pool overlooking the sea, a Jamaican thatched gazebo with bar, ice maker, refrigerator, wine cooler and satellite TV. Watch your favorite movie or sports team from the bar or the pool, or listen to your favorite tunes through our music system.

Within The Lagoons community are two lighted tennis courts and a large 25 meter swimming pool for your use.

Your rental rate includes the services of a full time, amazing group of people. Melonie is your chef, Rodrick is your butler/bartender, Annette is the house manager and Roy is the gardener. Your meals will be prepared and served either outside on the veranda, at the bar or indoors in the formal dining area. The staff will purchase and prepare all meals that you have chosen for your stay. After deciding on your menu for the week, you may either accompany the Chef to the grocery or give her an itemized list with cash, and she will return with the goods and all receipts.

In addition to the full staff, we employ a local management company that will meet you at the airport and arrange any side trips that you may want to take, if you please. This is not included in our nightly rate.

Staff was excellent and the property was well maintained. Not a single issue everything was perfect. Melanie was an excellent cook and all the meals were excellent. If you wondering about tipping, they provide you that information on your last night. General recommendation is 20% of booking price. They also provide the way to split it between the staff

AMAZING!!!! We stayed truly “at home” for a group of 40th birthdays. The entire staff was wonderful and made sure our stay was nothing less than unforgettable. Pro tip, listen to Annette. Don't worry about booking anything until you arrive and Annette will help out with that. Melanie is a 5* star chef making each meal to perfection. Roderick was more like a concierge and a whiz behind the bar.

Perfect Spot For Our Family Gathering

I am still glowing after our week at At Last! We were a group of 10, 4 generations! When we first arrived, I thought, “Will there be enough for us to do?” (We had a 2 and 4 year old with us.) My uncertainly quickly dissolved as we settled in and discovered everything Jamaica and At Last had to offer. Our week was so memorable. Of course the property itself is simply spectacular, and the views cannot be matched, but for me what set At Last apart was the staff. Annette, Melanie, Roderick, Mr. Roy, and Mr Baker are what made our stay above and beyond perfect. Not only did the staff take care of all of our needs on the property, but they also gave us an authentic sense of the Jamaican culture and the beautiful Jamaican people. Annette seamlessly oversaw everything with grace and kindness; Melanie prepared the most delicious, home cooked, from the heart meals (each and every one - soooooooooo good); Roderick made the best drinks ever (Mojitos, daiquiris for the kids, any and everything!), but as one who lives the “One Love” motto also distilled wisdom in the process; Mr. Roy attended to the grounds with detail and love and imbued a sense of peace and calm as he did so; and Mr. Baker helped us plan our week and chauffeured us here and there and everywhere (even throwing in some off the beaten path stops). He did all of this with true love and joy. Each drive was a Jamaican party!If you decide to book a stay at At Last, you will not regret it!

This is a wonderful property made even more special by the amazing staff. The property lived up to the description and expectations were exceeded by the beauty, cleanliness and amenities. HANDS DOWN BEST VACAY EVERRRRRR

I am not sure where to even start about this place!  I will say if you are contemplating...just go ahead and book NOW!  You will not regret it.  We spent the week of Thanksgiving  here with our family meeting up from all parts of the U.S.  From being greeted at the airport by the amazing Mr. Baker to the warm welcome as soon as we arrived..it was a flawless trip!  The home is absolutely gorgeous and I can't say enough about the view!!  We spent the entire week outside, only coming into our bedrooms to sleep.Our young adult kids left for a day of excursions, while the rest of us spent our time at the bar, in the pool, kayaking, and just relaxing. The food was extraordinary!! Chef Melanie was amazing!!  OMG! My 75 year old mom wanted some of her traditional dishes for our Thanksgiving meal, and she LOVED being in the kitchen with Chef Melanie! I can't say enough about Roderick!!  He kept the drinks flowing and constantly made sure we had everything we needed! Mr. Roy was amazing.  He kept the grounds immaculate and was so friendly!  He grabbed a coconut from a tree and showed our kids how to cut it open and have fresh coconut.  It was amazing.  He and Roderick also spent nearly 45 minutes pulling out sea urchin spines from my daughter's foot.  They were so gentle and helpful.  And Ms. Annette kept everything orderly tending to our every request.  This trip was our best vacay ever!  We did not want to leave and hope we can visit again soon!!  ONE LOVE!!

I read all the other reviews before I booked this property. And I have to say they are all TRUE. The house was amazing. Location amazing. And staff were amazing. Rodrick even went out of his way to go and buy a shell for my teen daughter. Melanie and Annette were so lovely and helpful. Truly a gem of a place and one of our best holidays to date!

Wonderful staff and location

We've stayed at At Last twice now and it is the most amazing vacation home. The highlight of the house is the wonderful staff. Having amazing food cooked to order by Karilla and served with care by Rodrick as the sun sets over the Caribbean is a true luxury. Outside of meals the house was kept clean (thank you Annette and Roy!) and Rodrick was always happy to make a round of strawberry daiquiris (virgin ones for the kids!). We’ve stayed at many excellent vacation homes but the meals and service of the staff is what makes At Last really stand out above rest. The location is fantastic. It's within the bay so the ocean on your private breach is very calm, perfect for children to safely play all day. The whole family enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking all week. The kids can snorkel right off the beach for little fish, sea slugs, and starfish although nothing too exotic (it's pretty shallow). Every morning we'd walk the little jetty to see fish and occasional stingrays. For good snorkeling, my wife and I would kayak 10 minutes straight out to the mouth of the bay for snorkeling on the reefs (go in the early morning!). IMO it is better than where the excursion took us at Doctor’s Cave. The house was wonderful. The bedrooms are comfortable but we really only slept there, spending most of the day on the patio, in the pool, or on the water. We did several excursions, your usual tourist affairs but fun. But house and staff made the vacation amazing. Again :) Thank you!

Paradise!

A special thank you to the Taylor family for sharing your piece of paradise with us for the week and to Annette, Rodrick, Karilla and Roy for taking such good care of our family. We wanted a relaxing spring break week for our family of 5, and Home At Last was perfect. After exploring on kayaks, we truly feel like you have the best lot on the peninsula with the most gorgeous views. We loved the villa, the location and especially the staff so much, that we only left once to explore Montego Bay during our week! There is so much more we could say, but we'll leave it at this...if you're looking for a private vacation where you can truly relax in paradise, make your reservation now. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful 5 day stay

My wife, our two boys, a niece and a nephew stayed at the Taylor's wonderful home in the Lagoons neighborhood the last week of Jan. The kids are all in their late 20's. The house is about 25 yrs old and kept in excellent condition given the tropical weather. Nobody had any issues in regards to their rooms or bathrooms. Mostly, we tried to stay outdoors on the beautiful patio/deck area. We used the paddleboards and kayaks and played games of cornhole. We used the pool sparingly as the weather was a little cool at times for Jamaica standards (better than NJ). The pool can be heated but there was a shortage of gas needed to heat the pool despite efforts by the staff to get the delivery in time for our arrival. The ocean water was warm anyway. What really sets this house apart is the excellent and friendly staff. As others have said, Annette, Roderick, Corilla, and Roy really go out of their way to make you feel at home. There is a menu to pick out different meals and my wife, Corilla, and Roderick then went to the market. After that, we just sat back and ate and drank.....well, the young adults did most of the drinking! For the 6 of us, we spent about $1200 for food and alcohol. We paid cash for the two meals that were already brought prior to our arrival and the rest was put on a credit card. We had two bottles of rum, a bottle of tequilla, and 2 six packs of beer. Just make sure to bring enough cash to tip the staff or you may need to make a bank run like I did.

Family Holiday Celebration

We had an amazing stay at 'Home At Last'! Every detail was attended to. The home, the location, the ocean front view was simply amazing. Our local family Annette (House Mgr), Roderick (Butler), Korilla (Chef) and Roy (Gardener) made everything absolutely perfect.. from a beautiful, well kept home, to a beautiful manicured garden and everything in between with amazing excursions, and even jet ski's brought into our cove, a fire at the ocean side in the evening with custom cocktails and wine to our heart's content. Add a week of planned menu's finding a balance of family favorites for 4 young adults and 2 older with influence of local flavors and dishes and even flexibility with some food preferences so everyone was beyond well fed and happy! The memory and experience was beyond priceless! Thank you to our Home at Last family!

Amazing Property & Location - Top Notch Team

First, thank you for providing us the opportunity to stay in your home. This property is picture-perfect, and it would be very comfortable to stay for good! This was the perfect destination for our family, which included my wife and I, our two daughters, and granddaughter. We had more rooms than we needed, and every room felt like an owner's suite w/attached bath. We left one day of the week for a tour, but found that the home and property provided enough for our small family to enjoy that it really wasn't necessary to leave at all. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool and would have played all day and night there if it was up to her. The paddle boards and kayaks provided us access to a great snorkeling reef. Weather was beautiful in Oct. So, the property is great, yes-- but the team (staff) supporting this home really has a powerful affect on your trip. Miss Annette ran the property flawlessly, Roderick met our every need and interacted most with my family. He is instantly likeable and positively engaged with everyone, including my granddaughter. Carilla created culinary delights daily that were amazing. Roy maintained the exterior of the property so well and assisted us with the kayaks and paddleboards. Bronstein, our driver provided safe and enjoyable passage when we needed it. Each member of this team showed strong character and were wonderful people. We hope to return in the future... It was an amazing stay that reinforced that Jamaica is #1 in hospitality.

The Lagoons, where our villa is located, is a unique community located in the Montego Freeport, just outside Montego Bay. It is a private, gated community with a community pool, 2 lighted tennis courts and a children's playground.

We have a full staff to provide you with every comfort. Our chef is available to prepare every meal based on your personal cuisine selections. The villa has a fantastic thatched roof gazebo with a full walk up bar and big screen TV. Most of our guests commune right in this area! The heated, infinity pool, located next to the bar and veranda, has a fabulous view of the sea and outstanding sunsets.
The pool features two unique areas. The main area is four and a half feet deep with benches for seating. The shallow area is twelve inches deep and is ideal for small children. Loungers set in the water are perfect for reading or enjoying the sun with friends.
