Careses proudly displays its "casas de aldea" (rural houses) with their original architecture lovingly restored for Rural Tourism. Casa Peña Careses is a fine example of this architecture. Here one can live in close contact with nature, Asturian customs, and rural way of live. Farming equipment and traditional elements of the working farm are displayed as a reminder of a bygone age.

Careses is situated in a wide valley at the base of “La Peña Careses”, (Mount Careses), where one can enjoy beautiful scenery and activities such as rambling and climbing.

Excelente el trato con los propietarios, de los mejores que he encontrado nunca, y somos asiduos del turismo rural. Nos acogieron casi como si fuéramos familia, una pasada. Las nenas disfrutaron un montón jugando con Coco y Xana, sus encantadores perros. La situación es idónea para visitar toda Asturias. El equipamiento es muy bueno, y el entorno muy tranquilo, a pies de la impresionante Peña Careses. Sin embargo, en 5-10 minutos te plantas en Pola de Siero donde dispones de todos los servicios. Cuando llegas te encuentras con un montón de cosas básicas en la cocina (aceite, sal, azúcar, café, infusiones, huevos...). Lo mejor que puedo decir de ellos es que si algún día volvemos por Asturias, sin duda será nuestra primera opción. Un fuerte abrazo!!! Marta, Aina, Rosa y Ferran

Fantástico

Excelente en todo. La casa es mucho más de lo que nos imaginábamos. Los dueños son maravillosos, mis hijos han disfrutado del ambiente rural con las gallinas, la vaca Paca y los perros, especialmente Coco, que han hecho la delicia de todos. Tienes todo lo disponible para pasar unos días estupendos. La localización es ideal para poder moverte por toda Asturias en poco más de una hora. Gracias Mayte, Marcelino, Aurora y Damián! Volveremos!!!

En pleno corazón de Asturias

Hemos pasado unos días estupendo en Peña Careses. La casa está puesta con mucho gusto, cuidada y no le falta detalle. Los dueños y caseros, Mayte y Marcelino y su hija Aurora nos dispensaron un trato excelente, cariñoso y que nos hizo sentirnos como en casa. La localización es perfecta para conocer Asturias entera, así como para poder hacer rutas de senderismo que parten de la misma Peña de Careses. Todo lo puedo resumir si digo que ha estado de 10.

Estancia excelente

Casa muy bonita, muy limpia y bien equipada. Ubicada en una zona rural muy tranquila. Mayte y su familia además fueron muy atentos y amables en todo momento.
