LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!! This charming, beautifully decorated, immaculate, approximately 1,500 sq. ft., two bedroom home is LOCATED!! in the Heart of the Los Feliz Village, a fifteen minute drive west of downtown. Outside our front door is one of the best 'walking' villages in Los Angeles, literally three minutes away from renowned restaurants, two movie theaters, cool boutiques, the post office, coffee shops, bars, dry cleaners, an Enterprise car rental location, live theater, three separate grocery stores, including an awesome natural food market, bi-weekly farmer's markets, and the list goes on! The restaurants range from Thai, Italian, French, Mexican, American, Middle Eastern, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Vegetarian, Vegan, seriously, you name it.

There are also 24 hour resturants in the neighborhood.

Built in 1922, this two story charming quadraplex is three generation family owned and occupied, pet free, Smoke free, newly renovated, with solid oak hardwood floors, new all cotton linens for the queen and king size beds, two 40'+ flat screen TV's, DVRs in the living room and the master, WIFI, gas log fireplace, central air and heat, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washer/dryer, ironing board and iron in the laundry room. While the original home was built in 1922, it has all new electrical from plug to pole, all new copper plumbing, smoke detectors and CO2 detectors, a new roof in 2011 and has been earthquake retrofit.

We have a lovely backyard area with a deck, a large table for dining al fresco, BBQ grill, hammocks, figs and grapes in season. For the little ones, we have a sandbox, balls, and three wheelers to enjoy. The back area is shared with the other units.

Opened in January of 2017, this is our second unit in the building. We have operated our first unit, VRBO listing #418471, since 2013. Feel free to go to that listing to see our excellent reviews and to get a better feel for what a stay in Casa de Los Feliz II will offer.

Beacause we are on site, we make every effort to make sure you are well taken care of. We love meeting you on arrival and checking in with you during your stay to make sure you are satisfied with the home.

We enjoy many parents and grandparents returning to visit their children and grandchildren. When we moved in, Jill put up a plaque reading "Bienvenidos A La Casa de Los Abuelitos": Welcome to the Home of the Grandparents. And it has really become that!! We have been fortunate enough to watch the babies grow into toddlers, to celebrate births, birthdays, and holidays with our extended "families."

Great Location

Perfect house for four people, very clean and well stocked. Great owner, helpful. Super comfortable beds and linens!! Kitchen had everything, including cooking oils and staples. We would definitely recommend this home near Hollywood.

Great Location

Worked well for our family of four. Great hikes right out the front door and up into Griffith Park. Excellent restaurants all within walking distance. The off street parking was super helpful. Very well appointed interior!

Best place I have ever stayed bar none. Very close to restaurants and stores and movie theaters. You can walk to everything. And completely furnished with anything you could ever want.

Terrific place, wonderful experience

We couldn't have gotten luckier than to have found this place. The apartment is spacious, lovingly cared for and very attractively decorated. The owners, Jill and Gary, live on site, and are super responsive to any need or question. The apartment is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee bars and shops, and right by Griffith Park. Even though it is located on a main thoroughfare, it is very quiet. There is a sitting area and dining area in the back courtyard that everyone shares. You won't be disappointed.

We found our new "home away from home"

I can't say enough about our wonderful experience in this apartment. It was exactly what we needed: spacious, classy, stylish, light & airy, well-stocked, and super comfortable. Living on the premises, Gary and Jill were always there for anything we needed. Having parking on-site and an outdoor sitting area was especially appreciated. And having a gas fireplace was a treat when mornings were cool. Can't wait to return!

We will stay here again! Jill and Gary are so thoughtful and shows in all the little extra things they do. The unit was immaculate. Everything was even nicer than the photos. A very convenient location. We loved the unit and the outdoor space. We had absolutely no complaints or problems.

A 10 minute walk will take you to the subway system which connects you within minutes to Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, The Kodak, Pantages, El Capitan Theaters, Hollywood Star Tours, Downtown LA, Universal City Walk, Union Station, Olvera Street, MOCA Museum, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Disney Concert Hall, LA Music Center, The Staples Center, LA Live, Long Beach Aquarium, Old Town Pasadena, and more. The Metro bus system is at the end of our block taking you west to Santa Monica Beach and Pier or east to over 300 shops at Glendale Galleria/Americana Mall.

It is also about a 20 minute walk to Silver Lake/Sunset Junction, with more cool shops and awesome restaurants and weekly Farmer's Markets.

The Griffith Park south entrance with it's two 18 and one 9 hole public golf courses, tennis courts, as well as the Observatory are a short hike north. A ten minute drive will take you to the east Griffith Park entrance where you will find a public pool, more tennis courts, two 18 hole public golf courses, playgrounds, the carousel, LA Zoo, pony rides, train rides, Train Town, hiking trails, the Autry Museum.

Many spas are within walking distance (By that we mean ~ Across the street), as are yoga studios, massage, nail and hair salons. Truly, anything you want is within easy reach.
