Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect solution for our vacation in Banff. The camper had everything we needed and provided a nice relaxing setting after a long day of exploring Banff's beautiful outdoors. Bob is an awesome host and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. Some reviewers said they walked into Banff and some said they drove. We did both. It was a bit hard to find parking in town later in the day so after the first night of driving into town and searching forever for a space, we decided to walk. The hill coming back is a bit of a beast but doable. Back to the camper, after seeing how close the rental homes are and how full the hotels are, I am soooo glad we did the camper. We had plenty of privacy and could sit outside and enjoy the cool evenings. Wonderful solution whether you're looking to save a little money or just get the most of your Banff vacation. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Great stay close to everything

  • 5 of 5

The trailer was just as expected, located in a quiet campground with public washrooms right across the street. The campsites were closer together than expected but we rarely heard any other noise. As previously mentioned, the shower is only hot for 5-8 minutes but we just planned ahead for it. Otherwise there's plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids (an extra bunk went unused) and we grilled every night to save on eating out and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit the last night. Bob was communicative, thoughtful (brought us extra towels for the kids), and very quick to respond to texts. He also advised us to get an early start, which was helpful since the parking lots (Lake Louise and Moraine especially) filled up around 8AM. We would definitely book again if we return to the area--so much more personality than a hotel!

Thanks for a great stay, Bob!

Very convenient and affordable

  • 4 of 5

We initially had chosen the camper as a last resort, but it turned out to be a great decision. Having a fully stocked kitchen with a stove and a grill was great because we found food in Banff to be very expensive. We were also able to pack lunches for our hikes. The camper was clean and had more than enough space for two of us. There is a TV, and we found some movies in a bin if you are really interested in watching a show. The campground was quiet and easy to navigate. There is a shower/toilet/sink in the camper that all worked well, but the hot water does use up pretty quickly. There are camp site buildings with showers that were clean and not as busy as I expected.

Overall, I would highly recommend staying, especially when you compare the price of other accommodations in the area.

Good stay in Banff

  • 4 of 5

Bob was helpful and coordinated an easy check in/out. Plenty of space for our family of four. Trailer is in good condition. Cooking meals saved a lot of money (restaurants avg $20+ per person). Trailer is close proximity to downtown (walkable if desired). Prepare for short showers (only 5-7 min) at a time and then 20 minutes to replenish hot water supply. There is a community bathroom/shower available which is a fairly clean option. FYI, no tv or WiFi available, so unplug and unwind!

Perfect for our hiking trip

  • 5 of 5

This was the PERFECT place for us to stay during our hiking trip. Bob was extremely responsive, set the camper up for us, got the permit, gave us directions how to avoid the line of campers waiting to get into the lot and was waiting for us upon our arrival. The unit itself was very clean and we had no issues with anything there. Bob provided a grill (which we used every night), a propane fire pit, and lounge chairs. The campground itself is a short drive to downtown Banff and has some nice small hiking paths right at the entrance. I'd highly recommend Bob's trailer and we couldn't have imagined a better way to spend our time in Banff.
