Overview

About the property

Great couple's getaway conveniently located between town & the 290 wineries

Our newest guesthouse! The native Austin Stone Grapetown Gasthaus was hand crafted by the local artisan. The guest house, located at the end of Donkey Trot Trail, offers scenic seclusion as you enter through the cedar privacy fence. You are welcomed into the Gasthaus by antique doors from a Mexican hacienda. The design of the Grapetown Gasthaus is based on these beautiful unique doors. It’s matching partners provide a dramatic entrance to the bedroom suite. The layers of vibrant turquoise, exposed wood and authentic hardware create an ambiance of rustic charm.

Favorite furnishings are an heirloom metal chair with twisted metal legs and a pair of antique duck drawings flanking the entry to the bedroom. The stone shower with pebble floor was personally designed featureing an Austin Stone arch, a rain shower head, and stained glass window that fills the shower with brilliant sparkling light.

The main living area features a flat screen TV offering Direct TV service, comfortable leather love seat, dining table and kitchen appliances. Keeping with the weathered turquoise design, a unique stand alone cabinet houses the Keurig coffeemaker and microwave. The bedroom suite’s queen sized wrought iron bed is graced by two school house desks repurposed as night stands. The room is blessed with abundant light and views of the ranch from two windows. As you enter the bath through the sliding barn door, you’ll see that the sink is mounted on a singer sewing machine base. An added item of interest is the beautiful copper heating grate used as a transom window mounted directly into the stone.

Step out and heat up the Weber grill or fire pit, or enjoy the private patio with view of the pond. Your evening may also include star gazing while relaxing in your own Jacuzzi! Attention to every detail reflects the pride the Innkeepers have in offering private luxury accommodations to their guests.

The Grapetown Gasthaus is one of three guesthouses on TimberRose Ranch. If the Grapetown Gasthaus is unavailable for your dates-be sure to check TimberRose Stone Cottage, or TimberRose Barn

We will definitely be back! Our stay at the Timberose Ranch far exceeded our expectations. You can tell how much thought has been put into every detail. We did a lot of running around the area during the day and it was so relaxing to come here to decompress and relax afterward. Thank you for an amazing weekend!
