A three bedroom cottage located in the village of Lastingham (7 miles from Pickering) in the heart of the National Park.
The Old Reading Room is a stone built detached cottage in the heart of the Village. The cottage sleeps 5 with two double and one single rooms, there is also a family bathroom all located on the first floor. On the Ground Floor there is a sitting room with a log burner, a dining room and a kitchen. To the front of the property is a small patio to sit and watch the world go by.
Lastingham is a peaceful backwater on the edge of the moors where you can walk or cycle to Hutton le Hole or Rosedale or further.
Lastingham is a Perfect centre for the moors and the dales, for ruined abbeys and castles, for the ancient city of York and for the coast with its smugglers coves and its long sandy beaches, a mere twenty or so miles away.
