Peaceful and private

  • 5 of 5

Though there are other houses around, you wouldn't know it during your stay. The house and area was so peaceful and feels secluded, which was lovely. The house was just perfect, with plenty of space for six of us and we never felt in the way of each other. Ron and Darlene were wonderful hosts and were quick to answer questions and concerns, even coming out to the house during our stay to fix a minor issue; so nice! In all, we had a great time and look forward to making this a yearly trip.

Clean, Cozy and Close to Everything!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 loved and enjoyed this house for our Christmas getaway. The layout was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace was a great bonus and even the hot tub was wonderful with 28 degree weather. We loved having a grill with a view!

Tons of storage and closet space. And we brought our fur puppy with us, who loved to explore on our walks.

The drives to Ashville and Hendersonville were super easy. And close to grocery stores and convenient markets.

We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your property! Great memories were made....

Great fun for a family getaway

  • 5 of 5

This house was awesome! The location is pretty cool and convenient. We rented the property for a wedding at Old Sherrill's Inn and a birthday weekend. We took our parents, and 3 kids, ages 10, 7 and 1. This property was perfect for everyone with a master on the 1st floor for those that cannot use stairs and the kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen is very well stocked, better than most places, with dish soap, paper towels, etc.

The best part of this house is the trail that is on property. There are some areas that are so steep that you have to use a rope to get up and down and there is a creek at the bottom. A little more fun to the adventure and still easy for all ages. The hot tub was working while we were there and the water pressure was actually amazing so I'm not sure if it was a fluke or the owners made some improvements (based on past reviews). We also ventured to Catawba Falls for some hiking and Native Kitchen for dinner. Both fun stops and convenient to the house.
