Please take a moment before submitting a booking request and familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy, house rules (each adult guest will need to sign a copy) and description. Also, when submitting your request make sure the number of guests (adults/children) is reflected accurately.
Our check in time after 4pm / check out by 11 am times are accurate, please make your travel plans accordingly. This a residential apartment building and we do not have onsite facilities for bag storage before or after your reservation times. If you will arrive early, or leave late, please consider adding an additional day to your reservation. Thank you.

The Catherine's pedestrian friendly address will also offer direct access to Austin's famous Town Lake known for its year-round jogging, walking, running trails-- and you must try stand-up paddle boarding while visiting! Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trails and kayaking is located just steps away. Minutes from Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, one block from The Long Center and Auditorium Shores. Immediate access to unique shopping and dining on South Congress and Austin’s 2nd Street District. Also within walking distance, you will find many bars, restaurants, live music, arts/entertainment and shopping.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Please note: We do not make exceptions to our cancellation/refund policies. Once a reservation has been confirmed any cancellation or reduction of nights will invoke the cancellation policies below, or as listed on your booking site:
We realize that unforeseen circumstances could cause you to cancel your reservation. Therefore, if you feel weather, illness, flight delays, car issues or simply changing your mind may happen for your stay, please purchase additional travel coverage. Only partial refunds will be issued for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival and refunds will not be issued for any reason outside of The Lux Haus’ control within 30 days of arrival as noted below:
Non-payment or non-receipt of house rules/rental agreement/background check consent forms:
At the discretion of The Lux Haus, the reservation may be cancelled if the payment, signed house rules/ background check/rental agreements are not received within 5 days of reservation subject to possible cancellation fees below.
Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival:
Guest will be charged a $75 reservation processing fee, $150 cancellation fee, and $45 dollars per background check processed by The Lux Haus. Any remaining refund checks or credit to a credit card will be issued within 30 days after a cancellation.
Cancellations within 30 days of arrival:
The total rental fee plus all taxes, fees, and applicable insurance premiums will be forfeited.
If travel insurance was purchased, a possible claim for a refund may usually be made through your travel insurance company if you canceled at least 24 hours before arrival. We will provide any needed documentation for your claim.
