We welcome you to our beautiful mountain condominium with breathtaking views straight up Vail Mountain and ski runs, just steps to the gondola, ski school, gourmet dining and shopping! At Vantage Point Condominiums, you're centrally located for an ideal winter or summer vacation. The Lionshead area of Vail Village boasts a high speed 12-passenger gondola for quick access to the entire mountain including the legendary Back Bowls. We have just completed several new updates: wonderful fast new internet, a large flat screen smart TV to stream Netflix for movies galore, new paint & draperies, and much more. The spacious living area features beautiful mountain views, fireplace, granite kitchen with open breakfast bar, large dining table and plenty of seating for lounging and relaxing. We've taken meticulous care to provide a designer Alpine decor with homey details. Sliding glass doors open to a large deck with barbeque and seating to enjoy the mountain air and spectacular views! And summer brings those beautiful cool nights, warm days. A big plus is our private covered parking located under the building w/access to the elevator direct to our unit.

After a day of skiing or summer activity, relax in one of two large outdoor Jacuzzis. Heated changing rooms are located next to the spa and summer guests can enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool.

As guests of Vantage Point, you're invited to access the new Aria Cub and Spa in West Vail, located adjacent to the Cascade Hotel off South Frontage Road, conveniently only a few blocks from Vantage Point. Aria is Vail's most extensive workout facility with cardio & weight training equipment, an indoor running track & basketball court, racquetball, squash, heated indoor pool & hot tubs. They offer fitness classes, personal training, Pilates & indoor tennis for an additional fee for use of their club so give them a call directly and inquire.

Vail summer/fall - packed with activities! Summer begins on Memorial Day w/Teva Mountain Games, and it's non-stop from there. Summer brings weekend farmers markets, concerts at the Vilar, the Bravo!, Vail Valley Music Festival, Vail International Dance Festival, Bud Light Hot Summer Nights free concerts, hiking, mountain & trail biking, white water rafting down the frothy Colorado River and afternoons spent touring high alpine lakes amid wildflowers with a picnic lunch. Exatly as advertized -Very convenient

We have stayed at Vantage Point 212 several times in the past. It is SO convenient to the lifts at Lionshead! It is clean, well appointed. and even has much appreciated condiments in the kitchen. The owner quickly responds to any questions and concerns. The only small inconvenience is the showers do not have a regulated force so the hot water is used quickly and my body feels powerwashed, Its the first place we look when visiting Vail AND I failed to mention the amazing views. Thanks!

Very nice Vail condo.

Stayed in this unit for 5 nights. Found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dined out for most of our stay, but had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare any meals we had there. We had the twin beds converted into a King and it was so comfortable! Both bedrooms had fans in the closets for use. We loved this as we are used to sleeping with the sound of a fan at night. The condo is in an excellent location with the town shuttle just steps away. We rented our skis from Vail Tech which is located on the short walk to the slopes. They were great and stored our equipment for us at the end of each day. The hot tubs were very relaxing and in good order. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location but in serious need of updating !

This unit is in a great location - very close walk to gondola. The layout is very cramped! The 2nd bath is so small and the shower door was broken - a curtain covers the glass. We only had 3 adults in the unit and the hot water ran out on a daily basis. The slider in the dining room had a curtain rod that was hanging off the wall. The unit was not clean. The owner never informed us that there was an office on the garage level that provided a newspaper, coffee & cookies daily. We were shocked by the condition of the unit based on the cost of our stay. I would not return or recommend others to stay. We feel fortunate that there was plenty to do and see so close by.

Owner's Response: Jennifer, you are right. Cleaning was not up to our high standards. Upon my arrival & after reading your review, I fired the cleaning co & hired a new one. They certainly fell short of our expectations. To address repair items, I immediately called a glass co & handiman to meet me & address your comments “shower door was broken” & “curtain rod hanging off wall”. When I arrived, I saw that the shower door was not broken but a small plastic guide in the track, which allows the doors to bypass, had broken. The shower curtain was not there to cover broken glass, but strictly décor. The drapery rod was not “hanging off the wall”, but one of the 2 bolts holding one end had loosened, so it hung a little loose from the wall & a simple fix with my screwdriver. From time to time, when something breaks or is not working properly, our guests contact us on arrival or during their stay & we send someone right over. If you would have reached out to us (no matter what time), we would have addressed the repair & cleaning issues directly. Regarding hot water, we have a typical 60gal tank, appropriate for a 2BR 2BA. Jennifer, the size, décor & condition of our unit is accurately depicted in photos posted on our website & speak for themselves. We have years of positive feedback from guests being comfortable & happy with the homey décor we work so hard to maintain. The real value of our condo is based primarily on view & location of Vantage Point specifically, close to the slopes, Vail’s only heated gondola, great restaurants & shopping. We boast that we have direct “50 yardline views” of the gondola and smack in the middle of the slopes. Another big plus is free private under-bldg parking, a very expensive & rare commodity in Vail. For your comment on price, we're priced accordingly & competitive to other similar units which may be larger but further away from the gondola, etc., & do not have our “location, location, location". We offer a soughtafter commodity: close to the gondola & entertainment. 50 steps away, The Arrabelle, would be 5x's our daily rate & with no mountain views. Our new building managers offer newspaper, coffee & cookies, but why complain? Jennifer, we're sorry you choose not to return to stay with us. Again, if you would have reached out upon your unhappy arrival we could have addressed your issues immediately. Thank you Jennifer. My best, Owner Lizann

We've chosen to maintain our Vail home to reflect a timeless alpine mountain ski chalet versus the current contemporary trend many people have adopted in their primary residences. We've refreshed our décor many times with warm touches such as comfy pillows, throws, bedding and oriental rugs. We're sorry our décor didn't meet your expectations. In the past 10+ years our guests have constantly commented on how warm, cozy & well appointed our mountain home is. We've had numerous guests return to stay with us as many as 4 times, and includes guests from all over the world. We thank you again Steve and we invite you to return to stay with us in the future.
