About Steve and Shirley Bradley
We are farmers , holiday home owners living in the beautiful South Hams near Salcombe. We have lived here on our farm for 30 years, raising 5 daughters and many South Devon cattle and Dorset sheep.!We have had a holiday cottage letting business for many years on the Farm and have enjoyed making many new friends from these over the years! I was brought up in South East Cornwall, we can see the Rame Peninsular from our chalet and we enjoy looking across and remembering a very happy childhood there.!The chalet at Bovisand is enjoyed by our daughters and their families , especially on sunny days and when it is not let we often drive down to enjoy lunch on our terrace with our family and friends (when we can spend some time away from the needs of our animals and farm guests!) We particularly like the everchanging sea view, watching the huge Brittany ferries coming and going and the naval operations happening with the arrival and departure of the naval warships, frigates, submarines, naval helicopters ,etc in Plymouth sound.
Steve and Shirley Bradley purchased this Chalet in 2017
Why Steve and Shirley Bradley chose Wembury
The whole of the South Devon, South Hams coastline is unspoilt ,wild and beautiful. The chalet is very well located for exploring South Devon generally and by using the Torpoint ferry or Tamar bridge to explore into South East Cornwall. Or you can just lay on the loungers on the terrace, do nothing and enjoy the exceptional views and quiet location. Plymouth is nearby for shopping, a huge choice of restaurants, shops, a fabulous waterfront, cinemas, Theatre etc for any not so good weather days when you dont want to go down to the unspoilt sandy coves right below the chalet.
What makes this Chalet unique
Truly exceptional views, a very friendly and well looked after small private chalet park , a bit like stepping back into the 1950 s for oldfashioned values, considerate neigbours and a very safe atmosphere throughout the development.
