Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 7)
This cabin features great furnishings, wi-fi, open loft, two master bedrooms, with 30-foot ceilings in living room and fully-equipped kitchen, impeccable attention to detail in building, on six acres, backing onto 50 undeveloped acres, king-size Italian leather sleigh bed, solid surface countertops, and gas cooking (rare for the area) The beautiful upstairs travertine master shower just never has worked there. As much as I hate to say so, I strongly advise showering in the downstairs hall bath.
Outside, you will find eight-foot decking on three sides, with large, very private hot tub, on the basement level, and, on the deck, rocking chairs, capturing a year-round mountain view. You also have a hammock at your disposal. You also have a Weber gas grill with side cooker.
You are minutes from horseback riding, hiking, bike trails, rafting, antique shops, the Cohuttas, the Chattahoochee National Forest, and fishing. You are a five-minute walk to tranquil horse pastures. You will pass within half a mile of downtown Blue Ridge when going or coming from almost anywhere.
This cabin is a perfect, pet-friendly, romantic or family getaway.
I hope to find guests who will come to consider it a home away from home.
Although the cabin sleeps seven, it only comfortably holds five adults. The first master, a loft, has a king size bed with a great view. The second master has a queenl-sized log bed. The third bedroom is a full/twin bunk arrangement, which means that a fifth adult would need to sleep in the bunk room, where there are no accessible closets, but drawers. Ample closet space across the hall.
After a long time with the same cleaner, I see the need to pay more for better results. Effective immediately, I will have a new cleaner that should leave the place looking (virtually) spotless.
When inquiring about booking, please let me know if you are bringing dogs (very welcome) and, if so, how many? That way your quote can be accurate with the nonrefundable $20 fee per furry friend.

Though I have traveled extensively in the past, I'm now quite content living in Atlanta, visiting New York for theater, settling in at the cabin, and walking on the beach. I love to read, love Netflix, and adore all domesticated animals. I rent this cabin because it would just seem like a waste for it to sit empty when I can't be there.

Why Owner chose Epworth
Privacy, view from upstairs mater bedroom, the open layout, and the stacked stone fireplace, those are what sold me. I'm also very happy with the two new window treatments outside and in front. I can spend hours each day on my porch, in my rocking chair, reading a book, catching the views.
What makes this Cabin unique
I adore the view from the upstairs master, and the dogs have room to roam without bothering anyone else. TVs have some of the latest gadgets, and I spend some relaxing time with them getting caught up on shows. I love the large balcony and the privacy. I'm extremely content, driving home, watching the dogs absolutely exhausted from another adventure. The privacy, perhaps most of all.

Peaceful, Secluded, Beautiful
Just returned from 5 days at this wonderful mountain cabin. We are ready to go back SOON! We instantly felt comfortable when we walked into this cozy, comfy cabin! We took our two little fur babies who immediately found their spot in front of the gas fireplace. For just the 2 of us we closed off the extra bedrooms and baths, and used the main part of the cabin, plus the loft. We were so busy exploring the areas hiking trails that we didn't make time to use the hot tub (next time) but my husband checked it out and said it looked wonderful! We would high recommend this cabin, and for sure we will be returning, hopefully sometime this winter.
Perfect cabin for a family getaway! Cabin offered plenty of space for my family (group of 7 people) and my dog. Plenty of land around the cabin for total seclusion and convenient location with grocery stores nearby. Beds were very comfortable and outside patio offered plenty of seating! Kitchen was fully stocked, and all electrical appliances worked correctly. Cabin layout was well thought out and ample parking space for multiple cars. Road leading up to cabin is well maintained and my van with rear-wheel drive had no problem getting to the top.Thank you for the accommodations!
Comfortable, secluded cabin. We had a great stay!
We stayed here over new year's eve and had a fantastic time. The owner was easy to work with and responded to emails quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we didn't encounter any issues that would even warrant calling the caretaker. The bedding, floors, and kitchen/bathroom surfaces were all very clean when we arrived. Beds were comfortable, appliances all worked, and the hot tub was great. It only got cool enough one night to turn the fireplace on, but when we did it worked great and our dogs enjoyed laying in front of it.
Before arriving, the owner gave some very detailed and thoughtfully typed out instructions on how to get to the house, how to use the appliances and hot tub, and how to access the door key. She also included advice that the upstairs shower has an issue with low water pressure and shouldn't be used. That was a shame, because it looks like a very nice shower, but there are two other showers downstairs so it didn't really affect our stay. The drive up to the cabin does include some unpaved roads that are a bit rough, but as long as you drive slow it's fine. We were in a relatively small front-wheel-drive vehicle and didn't have any issues.
Another reviewer complained about ladybugs and/or Asian beetles (I wouldn't be able to tell the difference); while we did see some dead ladybugs on a windowsill and saw one or two fly in off the porch, it hardly seems worth mentioning. This was a secluded cabin in wooded hills. The possibility of bugs is pretty much par for the course. Calling it an "infestation" is ridiculous, and I'm not sure what the owner could possibly do to prevent ladybugs from flying in an open door.
Overall we loved our stay here and would come back in the future. Thanks!
Very enjoyable stay
This cabin was beautiful inside and out. It was everything described. I would recommend it to anyone wanting rest and relaxation The views were spectacular.......
The cabin was secluded and well kept and clean. My wife and I would ssit on the porch every evening.
The cabin was clean and well kept. The owner responded to all our questions and even sent us a list of things to do in the area...
We really enjoyed ourselves and we enjoyed the Blue Ridge area.... WE plan on staying at this cabin again in the future...
Very nice & relaxing
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was larger than our home so it was really nice to have the extra space. It was peaceful, close to the town of Blue ridge, clean and well equipped. The instruction sheets were very helpful and also gave us local places to visit. My husband used the hot tub and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The surrounding property and area was beautiful and trees were in bloom, not to mention the flowers of every color. Our two dogs enjoyed the stay also and the older one liked to sit by the gas fireplace and sleep. The full basement was a great place for are other dog to play and chase a ball since we did not let then roam free outside. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again- when it snows.
