Otisco Lake Year Round Cabin
One of the cleanest of all the Finger Lakes. Charming cabin with 65' of water frontage with dock.
Newly remodeled and furnished. Large kitchen with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, pots and pans, flatware, dishes and glasses. There are two kitchen tables. One seats 4 and the other seats 6. The sliding glass doors located in the kitchen give you a beautiful view of the lake and scenery from most places in the cabin. The living room has couch and chairs, tv with wifi,internet and cable, and a beautiful stone gas fireplace for keeping warm on cold nights or for your winter stays.
Off the living room is a bedroom with a double bed, 2 dressers and a closet and an en suite with sink, toilet and shower.
There is a spiral staircase between the living room and kitchen that takes you up to the loft. There you will find a queen bed and a single bed, dressers and a closet.
The second bath with sink, toilet and shower, washer and dryer is located near the front entrance to the cabin .
There is a wrap around deck with a ramp which may help with handicap accessibility. The deck has wicker furniture and there are three picnic tables and a grill. A great place to eat your meals and spend your time taking in the lake and beautiful scenery.
It's a great location for much to do in the area from 10 minutes to 45 minutes away.
•Fishing- there are many species of fish in Otisco Lake . There are summer and winter fishing tournaments.
•Boating- rent a boat or take a boat cruise.
•Movie theater's- one with dinner and drinks
•Apple county (festivals in September and October)
•Destiny USA-One of the largest malls in the country with inside go-carts, restaurants, shops, etc.
•NY State Fair Grounds- NY fair will be from August 24th through September 4th . Also the site of many activities and shows throughout the year.
•Amphitheater-with well known artists preform throughout the year.
. Hiking and waterfalls
Skaneateles is just ten minutes away with beautiful estates surrounding the lake. Presidents and many famous people have lived on the lake. It is a small community with lots to do. Charming shops, lots of great restaurants, and also offers boat tours. In the winter near Christmas there is a "Dickens Christmas". This event offers horse drawn carriage rides Dickens characters dressed from the 1800's roaming the village . And the town if all dressed up for the holiday as well .A very fun time for the family.
Rates very on length of stay and season. Rates start at $1200 to $1600 a week depending on the season . Call for more information . Will consider rental for 6 months also .
There are board games supplied for family fun. Also supplied are linens and towels.
