Beautiful professionally decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse in Barrier Dunes. Our Townhouse is consistently rated as one of the top homes in cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Our home sleeps 6 with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. Features WiFi, 3 flat screen TVs,2 DVD players, stereo with CD player, washer, dryer, and gas grill. The unit is close to the beach, tennis courts and both pools. Our home is an end unit, #71 on the Barrier Dunes map, 408 Barrier Dunes Drive, just steps from the beach. Please note we do not allow pets. We are a non smoking unit.

This cheerful home is consistently rated tops in cleanliness and style. Our beach has been beautifully restored and is in top condition for 2017. Uncrowded, private and peaceful you can enjoy dolphins playing while you sun on the sugar white sand. Do not miss the sunset. Each night nature paints a different picture. Barrier Dunes is a gated community. There are three stocked ponds, paved roads perfect for biking and boardwalks leading to the tennis courts,both pools and the beach. St Joseph Bay CC golf course is a 15 min. drive. "Appliach" and Port St Joe are minutes away. Both have many restaurants and activities for everyone. Take a scenic Eco Tour, wildlife abounds.You can find Sea Turtles, Manta Rays, Bald Eagles and even the occasional Manatee. St Joseph State Park is right next to Barrier Dunes. Spend the day on bikes, picnic on St Joe Bay or relax and enjoy nature. We look forward to adding your family to our list of guests.

Floor plan consists of the first level Living Room with Queen Sofa Bed, TV/DVD, deck with ground level access, Dining and Kitchen, Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed, Private Balcony and Bathroom. The second level has a Master Bedroom with King Bed, TV/DVD, Private Balcony, Master Bath with Double Sinks, Garden Tub and Shower, Laundry Room with Washer, Dryer. There is a ground level deck with Outside Shower and extra faucets.

Lynn retired after 30 years as a math teacher. Mike retired after 40 years as a small business owner. We live in Georgia. After out first visit to the 'Cape' we purchased our townhome new. We have been the only owners for 16 years.

Wonderful. clean and well maintained town home with plenty of privacy.

Mike, we had a wonderful stay at your town home last week. The weather did not want to cooperate, but that is something that neither you nor I can control. Overall the days we had with sunshine were very enjoyable. The seafood places in Port St Joe and Mexico Beach were excellent. We enjoyed touring Port St Joe and Apalachicola which are close by. The tennis courts are in excellent condition, and both pools are clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying here in the future. Thanks, Mike.

Spring Break 2017

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious but the only negative is no door to the master bedroom and internet service was not really good in Cape San Blas. We would come back again!

Fully loaded but lacking

We really liked the condo. It has everything that you could possibly need. There were definitely some things that we were disappointed in. 1. The ad says that the pools are heated. They most definitely are not. 2. The ad says that the lakes are stocked. While checking in, I asked about the fishing and was advised that we were not allowed to fish and that the owners know this. 3. We usually explore the area every day except one. The day we stayed at the resort, a construction crew came through around 10am and got on the roof making repairs. We had no warning prior to the banging. If we had known, we would have made plans to be away from the resort that day. 4. There was a placard on the counter top that there are free activities by texting a code. When I sent my text message and made a selection, I was advised that this owner doesnt participate. When I inquired to the property management company, Kim told me that they cant possibly keep up with who participates and who doesnt and make sure those signs come out. Really? Im in property management and that is called attention to detail.

Because our vacations are comprised of swimming and fishing, and we chose this place based on those things, we were disappointed that this location didn't meet our expectations as much as the condo did.

Owner's Response: Sherri, I am sorry you had issues at Barrier Dunes. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please let me address each issue. 1. The interior pool is heated as advertised. 2. Guests are allowed to fish in the ponds. They are full of fish. 3. I am sorry for the construction crew. They are instructed not to perform maintenance when there are guests present. I have spoken with my property manager to make sure this will not happen again. 4. The "free" services add to the cost of the stay and are built in to the price. Quite frankly they are not very good so we do not use them. The placard was put there by our management company by mistake. Again, thank you for your review. We strive to make sure our guests are happy. Thanks,Mike
