I grew up in Washington, DC, and went to college in NYC, but I love Denver. Getting out and enjoying the mountains is my favorite part of living here, but enjoying life in North Denver is a close second.

Nice apartment in hip neighborhood

We stayed in this lovely apartment for our first trip to Denver. Hating "touristy" areas, we opted for the Highlands and this apartment. It is smaller but definitely is quality over quantity. With kids, it is more room=more mess.

We are a family of four (kids are 4 and 5 years old) but everything is situated so nicely that we had our needs met and then some. It is so nice when a host anticipates a guests needs and has the every day life amenities taken care of.

The host had great communication beginning, middle and end. It was easy to book and then live in this beautiful apartment. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures and is a great space. Super clean and contemporary. The walkability of the neighborhood is great and with in the first few days, we felt totally at home.

Would definitely recommend!

Nice aesthetic but quite small.

We had a great start to our stay at this property. However, the owner claimed that we lied about our age, which we certainly did not, in order to rent the apartment and threw us out of the apartment in the middle of our three month stay while we still had a month left. The owner did not ever make clear in writing or verbally that she had a minimum age to rent her apartment that was anything other than the 18 years of age mandated by the VRBO site. The owner is now refusing to communicate with us whether it is in writing or over the phone and is claiming that she has the right to keep the remainder of our money from the time that we did not end up staying there. I would not recommend staying at this property because the owner has refused to communicate and she has not handled our situation fairly at all. Plus, she is keeping over a thousand dollars of our money for which we did not stay at her property.

Owner's Response: This guest wrote a negative review because was caught breaking the rules and she didn't like the consequences. There isn't anything negative about the apartment. My house rules clearly state the relevant policies: that the age minimum is 27+ years old, that parties are not allowed , and that the refund policy is "non-refundable." To book my property, you have to navigate through the site, read, and manually click to accept these house rules which are clearly displayed on the listing and the booking page. This guest was asked to leave and she agreed to do so. She wasn't kicked out. She was asked to leave because she was 20 years old when she booked my apartment, she caused damage to my property during the two months she stayed, and she and her boyfriend were caught throwing a loud party. This is why I have a minimum age; guests who are too immature to be responsible for a nice place and can't behave in a considerate and thoughtful manner are not a good fit for my property. I have over 100+ 5-star reviews but I guess anyone can accept the wrong guest and this is obviously the case here. I look forward to hosting future guests who are a good fit for my place:)

The Sweet Spot!!!

I was late with planning my trip to Denver and found this sweet spot. This place was so clean and in a great location. Seemed like a safe area of Denver close to a main road called Spear. I was with in walking distance to some fun places like William and Graham (a speakeasy) and Linger.
