INSIDE THE HOUSE
There’s parking space for two cars on a driveway beside the house. Take the path in the landscaped front yard toward the house.
You’ll enter into a sunny living room with polished hardwood floors, contemporary artwork, and seating for 7 on a white couch and loveseat. Also includes a large ottoman and a 32” flat-screen with DirectTV.
Hardwood floors flow through to a formal dining room with rich crimson walls and a black wood table that seats 6, and a convenient sideboard for serving and wine fridge.
To the left, a spacious kitchen features granite countertops and a host of contemporary appliances, including a gas stove-oven, large toaster oven, and Keurig machine.
From here, access the lushly landscaped back yard. Relax in a sitting area on the patio with cushioned furniture and a beachy coffee table. Feel like dining alfresco? Fire up the gas grill, then gather around a patio table beside the garden fountain.
Back inside, a staircase from the living room leads up to the bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
Sink into a plush queen-size bed in the light-filled bedroom on the left of the hallway.
Opposite, another bedroom doubles as a study/lounge with a 32” TV, desk, and a cushion-filled day bed featuring a trundle (serving as 2 twin beds).
In the master bedroom, a queen-size bed awaits. Freshen up in a spacious en suite bathroom with double sinks, a large vanity area, and a big walk-in shower.
With a spot just 2 blocks away from the beach, a morning walk beside the Gulf of Mexico is easy. Relax on the sand, go on a boat ride at Pier 21, or hire out a boat from Fishing Galveston (a 3-minute drive) and spend the afternoon out on the open water.
Down the coast, it’s just an 18-minute drive to Galveston Island State Park. Enjoy an invigorating beach hike, or an afternoon of kayaking, wade fishing, or bird-watching.
Hop in the car and drive 10 minutes to hit the epic waterslides and pools at Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark, or visit the Rainforest Pyramid and Aquarium at Moody Gardens. You'll also enjoy the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier with its 16 rides including a Ferris wheel and roller coaster. The Pleasure Pier is just 1.5 miles away or a five-minute drive.
