The apartment consists of a bedroom (160x200 bed - Queen size bed which could be separated into two single beds), a bathroom with shower and sink, a space with washer and dryer machine, separate WC and a spacious living room with beamed ceilings, antique fireplace and well-equipped kitchen. The leather sofa converts into a double bed (140) comfort. Newly redesigned in 2013 by architect. Located on the 3rd floor (with wide landing) - no elevator.

We have renovated this flat of the 17th century with an architect and are very proud of this charming and beautiful result (antic ceiling and floor). This apartment is bright with natural light coming in and very pleasant to stay and relax after walking and visiting historical monuments.

no better location in Paris

the apartment is wonderful. overlooks Rue des deux pont, with big windows to open and view of the Seine. Makes one feel as though in a storybook. it is on the third floor, so pack you should anyway. A little hot until we figured out the air conditioner. very roomy for two people or a family. and location, location, location...ile Saint Louis is my dream home

Great location and amenities!

The location for this apartment was perfect to walk to all major Paris attractions and Metro stations. When you get there, ask how to turn on the stairway lights since the switches in the stairway look like doorbell buttons.

We know Paris well, and this is a great place and a real find.

Not our first VRBO (but maybe our last due to the 6% fee which we feel is mean and putting you out of our good feeling area) place, but certainly one of the best. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION all works and while it is not cheap, Bertrand does a really good job: All the appliances work, he clearly cares about his product and has a good support staff. It is modern, clean and mostly quiet. We would recommend it in a heart beat.

We did not know about the construction but ones needs to be up and about by 8 am anyway. And yes it is a 3-4 floor walk up but one gets over that.

Perfect pied à terre

The prefect location, walking distance to 3 metro lines and a small view of the Seine. Nothing else needed. Except the aroma of the bakery downstairs prompting me to wake up in the morning. A great find.

Wonderful location!

Bertrand's apartment was a fantastic exclamation point to a wonderful trip I took to Paris with my mother and my daughter upon her graduation from high school. Staying here allowed for us to experience Paris in a local way, as it is not in the middle of the crush of tourists, rather in a neighborhood setting with a bakery right downstairs! There is a beautiful view of the Pont Marie bridge and the Seine out the window of the apartment, and just a short walk in the other direction you get to the Pont de la Tournelle bridge where you can see Notre Dame Cathedral and, on a clear day, the Eiffel Tower. We were pleasantly surprised to happen upon a very lively shopping district to the north of the apartment on the Rue Saint Antoine. There we found a grocery store, a butcher, another bakery, a few wine stores, a fruit and vegetable store, a corner restaurant to sit for a glass of wine - even a Starbucks! We were happy to be able to make our dinner two nights of our stay by shopping for our meal at each of these shops. It was wonderful! We went out to eat one night at an absolutely fantastic restaurant called L'Auberge de la Reine Blanche on Rue St.-Louis en L'ile, which is right around the corner from the apartment. We had yet another delicious meal here. It is a small restaurant, and we were lucky to happen upon a table, as it became crowded shortly after we arrived. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The Coq au Vin was out of this world. Bertrand's apartment was very comfortable for the 3 of us with 2 twin beds and a pull-out sofa. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom had plenty of room, and although we didn't use it, there is a washer/dryer at the apartment. It is a beautifully maintained property and extremely clean. The one and only complaint we had was in regards to the stairs. There is no elevator, as Bertrand clearly states in the description. It was a bit of a struggle with our heavy suitcases, however, we only did it once up on the first day, and once down the day we left. It certainly would not deter us from staying here again ~ I would absolutely recommend this apartment. Bertrand was kind, helpful, and very responsive. This is the place to stay!! Thank you Bertrand!

Very Nice Apartment

Transaction fee card $32.68
Stay tax $2.72 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the owner upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 1 years.

Please note that we will ask for a security deposit of 500€ via your credit card as a pre-authorization without debit of your card accounts during check-in. This will be used only in case of damages.

Cancellation and early termination
(1) If the Tenant terminates the contract before the rental period starts and doesn’t name a replacement that accepts the same terms, then the Advertiser is entitle to keep the following amount from the total rental price payment to cover costs (excluding cleaning):

- Retain half booking if cancellation is made after 4 months before rental period,
- Retain booking if cancellation is made after 3 months before rental period,
- Retain double booking if cancellation is made less than 2 month before rental period,
- Retain half rental price if cancellation is made less than 1 month before rental period,
- Retain the full rental price if cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before rental period.

The Advertiser can thereafter let the property to someone else.

(2) If the Tenant terminates their stay early, they are still responsible to pay the full original rental price.

(3) Termination is only accepted in writing (e.g. e-mails of the Advertiser or his representatives). The applicable termination date is the day the termination notice is received by the Advertiser.
