About Vacasa of Southern California
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice getaway but place in need of major TLC
The cabin itself is in need of some major TLC. It is very "rustic"!! The bed is very soft and uncomfortable and low thread count on the sheets. There is a HUGE slant to the place and that was a bit hard on my back it felt like I was always going to fall. The kitchen is very limited, no foil or plastic wrap no storage stuff at all and only one lid for cooking very limited spices. I had to wash the pans before I used them so I suggest doing the same because they were oily and dishes were dusty the coffee pot was pretty bad too. The hot tub is not totally private, the road has somewhat of a view and there are other cabins within sight. It is a nice hot tub though and can be turned up. The bathroom sink was plugged so any sink requirements we used the kitchen sink. I didn't want to deal with having someone come in while we were there to be alone.
There are no instructions to the TV or DVD so that was an irritating guessing game. Small things once you get use to them but....
A broom is needed because outside stuff gets brought in regardless of how much one wipes their feet.
The sheets were very dusty and I believe they had not been changed. I don't know if the place sat for awhile before we rented it but it was rather bothersome on the dirt n grime factor. We shook the sheets out and remade the bed but it didn't feel fresh.
Upon leaving we found new sheets but that's because we were making sure we didn't leave anything behind. Which there is nowhere to put your clothes the dresser had sheets in it. We lived out of out suitcases.
There was an accident, when I pulled the chain to turn on the over head fan the glass shade fell out and shattered all over the floor. There was no broom so we wiped it up with wet paper towels and used the fireplace thing for a dust pan. I then found out just how dirty the floor was and the place started to creep me out about when it was cleaned and how. Maintenance was right on the accident the next morning and mopped the whole floor and the kitchen floor for any glass.
Putting all that aside the creek was beautiful and looking at all the tall trees absolutely wonderful. The nights in the hot tub were nice and the air smelled so good and fresh. Nice hot tub towels.
We will not come back here again but we did enjoy the experience of the town and the mountains.
With a little TLC this place could be fantastic! Then I would come back!!!
We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have passed along your concerns to the manager. Please call us next time so we can take the appropriate steps toward a resolution.
We look forward to hosting you again!

Quaint! A nice getaway cabin.
We loved this place. Yes, the floors have interesting angles in places, the shower takes a bit of getting used to, but the water's hot and plentiful. The outdoor jacuzzi while looking up at brilliant stars overhead is a real pleasure. Our Honda fit well in the diminutive parking area (don't come in here with a big rig!), and the walk to the village is a pleasant experience.
Cabin close to Village
This small rustic cabin is nice for those who want simple pleasures. Although the hot tub jets were weak, it was nice to relax outside in warm clean water. There were a lot of clean linens and the kitchen was nicely stocked with basic essentials. We were able to walk to the Village and enjoyed the outside in relative quiet.
