A Bright One Bedroom Suite In The Most Fashionable Neighborhood In Toronto

The Stanley Suite is a self contained one bedroom unit on the main floor of our house in Torontos' fashionable west end. The bright and spacious suite has a large modern 4 piece bathroom that includes a large walk in shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, kettle, toaster, full-sized fridge and dishwasher. The living room area has a pullout sofa that sleeps 2 as well as a 56 inch TV that has Netflix and Crave TV. The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and plenty of storage space.

Stanley park across the street has a children's playground and splashed, basketball court, tennis court, public pool in season, ping pong table and an off leash dog park.

We are conveniently located between King and Queen Steet. This is the epicentre of great shopping, cool dining , art galleries, clubs and sports venues. There is transit at the end of our street, bike share is nearby and so is CarToGo. Lake Ontario with its fitness trail and public beaches is only a couple blocks away. You can take a leisurely walk along the harbour front where you can take a ferry to the Toronto Islands.

About Alan McIntosh

I am a self employed artist who grew up just outside of Toronto. I have been involved in the art scene in Toronto for many years and love the cultural diversity of this city. There is always something interesting going on around town.

Alan McIntosh purchased this apartment in 2008

Why Alan McIntosh chose Niagara

I first moved to this area to go to school at the Ontario College of Art and I have gravitated back here over the years. It is an eclectic neighbourhood of working class, immigrant, urban professional and hipsters all adding their own flavour to the area.

Beautiful suite close to many attractions and transit

This is a wonderful place to stay while in TO. The suite was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had all amenities required. Alan was extremely helpful, providing directions to the location prior to our arrival. He also had lots of recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, etc.

Would definitely stay again when visiting Toronto.

Love this place

Second time I have stayed here. Near enough to the town centre, but far enough away to be quiet.

clean, great value, location and hospitality

  • 5 of 5

lovely pre-war home completely remodeled on the inside for a modern, cozy experience. Alan is attentive, kind and full of great ideas to explore Toronto. Much better than other options i reviewed which would have been in high rise characterless buildings. if this spot is open, jump on it! good for 1-2 people. quite spacious.

fit for designers

Alan was fantastic to deal with. Weeks before, we received detailed info on the place and it's location. Upon drop off from Uber, we had difficulty finding our way but Alan came to the rescue. He came to meet us and walk us over to our spot. He provided some highlights around town, places of interest and info on museum exhibits that were happening during our stay. He also touched base with us every day to ensure we were fine and cared for. The place was clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. The artwork was inspiring! The bathroom was a spa haven with large walk-in shower and deep tub. Kitchen had everything we needed despite not having a stove. Bed comfortable. Central location with 15 minute drive or 1/2 hour walk to CN tower and cute artsy neighbourhood nearby. Would definitely recommend to others and rent again myself. Thanks Alan!

A great, comfortable spot near King West, Queen West and Trinity Bellwoods—the apartment has everything you'd need, has a cool refined air and is filled with beautiful art. Really enjoyed my stay here: highly recommend.
