About David Hober
Hello, I'm David Hober, the very excited, proud new owner of Surf Dweller #708. I just purchased this condo in 2017. I'm the owner and managing broker of Hober Realty and Dixie Living Property Management in Atlanta, Ga. I've been in the real estate business in Atlanta since 1985. I've have always dreamed of owning a place at the beach. I'm so thankful that I've finally made it happen! Our plan is to renovate the condo and keep it in the rental market for the next several years. Then someday, when I retire, we'll move in full time. But, for now - welcome to my "Beach Dream Home" !!! Enjoy!!

Why David Hober chose Ft Walton Beach
We watched the real estate market for over a year, waiting for just the right property to come along. We are so excited to have purchased this condo; it meets all our criteria. Requirement #1: It had to be beach "front". Not a side view or a view of the ocean off in the distance. Full on beachFRONT!! There is no road or buildings or pool between you and your view of the beach/ocean. It's just white sand and blue/green water for as far as you can see in all directions! Requirement #2: We wanted a huge balcony and lots of windows showing the breathtaking views. This condo has one of the largest balconies we could find (30 feet wide). Plus instead of just a window and a sliding glass door to the beach, we have 4 sets of sliding glass doors. Basically floor to ceiling, wall to wall glass looking out onto the beach/ocean. This is in the living room and the master bedroom. And because we're on the top floor, the guest room has a view of the Santa Rosa Sound (the other side of the island). Requirement #3: We wanted some SPACE. So many of the other condos felt like hotel rooms. We are planning to move into this condo someday (once we retire). So, we wanted somewhere that we could picture ourselves living (not in a space the size of a hotel). So, this is one of the largest 2BR/2BA floor plans we could find - 1453 sq feet. That's the size of a small house! Every room is spacious. We could live here (and I can't wait!).

Perfect vacation accommodations!
This is our second year here and we were as happy this year as last! The condo has everything we needed all we had to do was show up. The views from the balcony are incredible! We will be returning again and again!
Special week at this awesome spot in Fort Walton
Great place! Beautifully decorated and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony is amazing. We spent our mornings viewing sting rays and dolphins while enjoying our morning coffee. The beach is the prettiest we have ever seen with the snow white sand and the clear emerald water. The owner answered our questions quickly and was very pleasent. We are looking forward to returning to this haven soon.
Paradise on the Gulf.
Stayed at this location for the first time at Easter. Everything with the property was spot on. Clean, fresh, beautiful views, quiet, and centrally located. The condo had high quality kitchen equipment (which I hope future renters respect), comfortable bedding and furniture. The comm7 cations with the owner was efficient and quick. We will be reserving for next spring. It’s beautiful.

Rates & Availability
Additional information about rental rates
1) Our weekly rentals are from Saturday (check in) to Saturday (check out). Saturday is our "turn over day". Each Saturday begins a new week (and a new weekly rental). Therefore, during peak Spring and Summer season, we may not be able to approve any rentals that are not from Saturday to Saturday. Sorry. 2) The guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years old. 3) We require a signed 'short term rental agreement' as well as a copy of the guest's driver's license.
