3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 10
Five-star accommodations less than 15 minutes from Dollywood: That sums up Wilderness Theater and Lodge in a nutshell. Located in the Alpine Mountain Village resort, the 3-bedroom log home is within walking distance of the Pigeon Forge Parkway, which is home to the Titanic Museum, a huge outlet mall, dinner theaters, restaurants, and more. But because the lodge is packed with so many luxuries, you may never want to leave!
Chief among these amenities is the home theater—the reason the lodge has “theater” in its name. You can kick back on the plush sofas and watch a favorite movie or even the big game on the 100” screen. The HDTV system includes surround sound and a Blu-ray player. And to make the viewing experience complete, there’s even an old-fashioned popcorn machine in the room.
The home theater is part of the game room that makes up much of the lower level. When you’re not watching a film, you can challenge friends to table tennis, have a go at one of the 2 arcades, or play on the Nintendo Wii or the PlayStation 3. If those aren’t enough entertainment options for you, head to the loft, where you’ll find a pool table. You might find yourself hoping for a rainy day, just so you can make time for them all.
The main floor’s great room is ideal for resting up between games. The log walls, wood floors, and beamed cathedral ceiling exemplify rustic refinement, as do the comfortable couch and the roomy leather recliner. The stone-surround fireplace adds to the welcoming ambience in winter, while the ceiling fan provides a gentle breeze in summer.
The great room’s dining area includes a table that seats 6 and a breakfast bar with room for 2 more. Separating the dining area from the kitchen, the breakfast bar is also a handy spot for helping to prepare meals. And though you might have planned to eat most of your meals out (Wilderness Theater and Lodge is close to a wealth of restaurants), you might change your mind once you see how spacious, well equipped, and absolutely charming the kitchen is.
Wilderness Theater and Lodge has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one on each floor for maximum privacy. Each bedroom includes a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan, making the lodge as well suited for several couples vacationing together as it is for a family. While each bedroom is a delight, the master suite on the main floor has a little something extra: a private jetted tub. If you have additional guests, sofas in the great room and the game room convert into queen-size beds, enabling the lodge to sleep 10 people in all.
And don’t feel bad if you end up in one of the bedrooms without the jetted tub, because Wilderness Theater and Lodge has a roomy hot tub on its deck. After a day spent chasing the kids throughout Dollywood or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the massaging jets of the hot tub will have your weary muscles feeling as good as new. The deck is also outfitted with rocking chairs, a porch swing (so romantic!), and a bistro table. You could easily while away the entire day out there, glorying in the crisp breeze whispering through the trees and the singing of sparrows and warblers.
The amenities extend beyond the lodge itself. Because Wilderness Theater and Lodge is within Alpine Mountain Village, in the summer you’ll have free access to the resort’s outdoor pool. Little ones can frolic in the play area year-round, and everyone will enjoy strolling along the resort’s hiking path, which meanders alongside a stream.
Whether you like amusement parks or hiking, swimming or shopping, being constantly on the go or lounging in luxury, you’re sure to have a fabulous time at Wilderness Theater and Lodge. But don’t just take our word for it: Book your stay today, and see for yourself!

Very Well Appointed
Everything was as advertised. We found the place clean and well stocked. The front doorlock code was a bit problematic, but management quickly provided us with a new code that worked much better. We`d definitely stay here again.
Thank you for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
The place was nice but the termite infestation left one of the bedrooms inhabitable. We only rented this cabin because of the three bedrooms. What a disappointment!
I contacted the management company by email the first night but I still haven't heard a response. This will be the last time I use any business associated with this rental.
Thank you Jason for taking the time to review our property. We apologies for the issues you encountered. We did get your call and the property was treated for termites after your stay. Again, thank you for sharing and we look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies, giving us the opportunity to exceed all expectations.
Very comfortable & clean! Enjoyed our stay!
Very nice place to stay in Pigeon Forge. Close to everything. Property manager was there when we checked in & she was very helpful with any questions we had about the cabin. We had everything we needed & it was very clean & comfortable.
Thank you Barbara for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Great cabin and location but the detailed care can improve
We had a good stay overall - great cabin for our party of 10 (kids slept in lower floor game room), and convenient location. However, some of the detailed care can improve which can only happen if someone checks in person periodically.
-Great cabin overall - 3 floors for our 3 families
-Pool table, ping pong table, arcade games to keep broad age kids occupied when adults were busy
-Nice quiet location, yet very convenient to attractions, restaurants and shopping
-Poor internet, even if you connect in room with the router. We needed internet to check attractions, traffic, discounts, ratings, etc. We just used our phone service.
-The entertainment available was missing key parts - ping pong table paddles torn in poor condition, no games just base unit for PS3 game console, missing pieces for chess game, etc.
-The kitchen utensils must only be cleaned by previous renter. We found peanut butter smeared knife in drawer, chunks of ??? on bottom of mugs / plates/ bowls, etc. Also, there was no can opener so we bought a $2 one and left in drawer.
Overall we had a good time, but this cabin can easily be a 5 star with a little more detailed care.
Hedeki for taking the time to review our property. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We apologies for falling short in some areas. Again, thank you for sharing and we look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies, giving us the opportunity to exceed all expectations.
Very well maintained and beautiful
Nice location though not private you will have enough privacy.
Thank you for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Good value for the price
Shows signs of use which is normal-needs deep cleaning(areas not accessible by normal cleaners. Limited seating in living area on main floor. Overall a good value and the location being so close to the parkway but with the feeling of being farther out was great. We also liked the fact that the cabin was among others and not isolated.
Thank you John for taking the time to review Wilderness Theater and Lodge. We appreciated your comments giving us the opportunity to improve on our customer services.
