Extend your beach escape from the heat or cold, or enjoy a peaceful retreat if you are a local in the throws of remodeling -- whatever your reason, this gorgeous 3 BR/2BA designer-decorated condo has everything you need to relish a longer stay in beautiful Coronado. The condo sits on the second-floor of the historic Monterrey, a 1920s-era Spanish building in the heart of Coronado. Charming luxury, yet modern and comfortable space. EASY walking distance from everything Coronado has to offer including beach, restaurants, bars and grocery store. Access to one-car garage, though you may not even need a car, since the unit is close to everything, including a bus line that takes you to San Diego. The building units were all updated and modernized in 2006, with high-end finishes. The exterior of the building was recently refreshed, taking great care to keep its historic charm. There is a peaceful courtyard and fountain. The unit itself has a bunk room, with trundle, and a full bathroom. There is a nice -sized, fully-equipped, kitchen with bistro seating. The living/dining room has an entertainment center and a dining table that overlooks the courtyard fountain. On the other end of the unit, there is a bathroom, a king-sized bed in one bedroom, and a queen size bed in another bedroom, all with fine linens and luxurious towels. You will find 2 beach cruiser bikes and beach essentials in the one car garage, which you can use for parking. PLEASE NOTE, LONG-TERM RENTALS (30 DAY MINIMUM) ONLY. We would like to rent to those who want or need an extended stay in our beautiful village. No sub-letting or splitting the reservation/lease. Inquire for pricing should you need to straddle seasonal rates. ALSO, THIS IS A SECOND-FLOOR UNIT WITH NO ELEVATOR. Your party must be able to navigate one flight of stairs. Certain dogs may be allowed--contact for details. Separate lease is required and will be provided upon inquiry.

This is a beautiful condo, very modern and updated. It is in a great location, walkable to everywhere you want to go on Coronado. Kari and Harry are wonderful, very accommodating and kind.
