Easy to downtown and great neighborhood
This 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome was very convenient and clean with some really great restaurants nearby (loved Sunrise Cafe for breakfast! Inexpensive and they had awesome breakfast tacos!). The king size beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the bedrooms on seperate floors. The townhome felt very safe and we had our own parking space in the back so we did not have to find street parking. Uber downtown was fast (10-15 minutes and about $10-12 depending on where you went). Charlie was very responsive to any of our questions and quickly took care of any issues we had. Charlie, I do have a couple of constructive suggestions to help make future guests more comfortable: an extra umbrella would help for that lovely Chicago weather. Also, I would suggest investing in new towels throughout - most of what you had were thin and smelled once they got wet.The thermostat was set at 71 degrees which was very cold, especially as it rained most of the weekend. When we tried to adjust it, it would warm up, but then automatically go back to 71. We ended up closing some of the vents. And last, some 2-ply toilet paper and a bit better quality would be nice for your guests, it was frustrating using the 1-ply and we ended up doubling up so I don't think it was very economical. Otherwise, we loved your place!! Thanks!!!
Nice enough for a second visit
Decided to visit Chicago again and were happy to get into this comfortable apartment a second time. Air conditioning worked well in the heat wave, and the neighborhood was still great for walking around with our dog Abbie.
Great place, great time
Never been to Chicago before and after a shaky flight, was quite happy we were able to spend a nice relaxing night in Ukranian Village. What a cool neighborhood! The townhouse was very nice, with my brother and his wife and me and mine staying in nice bedrooms on separate floors. Kitchen and dining room were spacious and clean. I left a shirt behind when we left and Charlie was nice enough to mail it to me. Thanks, Charlie and will definitely stay at your place on Iowa Street next time we're in Chi-town.
Great place to stay!!!! Will absolutely stay again next time we visit Chicago.
Charlie responded quickly to our request to stay. He answered all our questions. We needed secure off street parking. Communication was excellent. He was available to resolve small issues once we arrived. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend his property to anyone needing access to Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park,
or Bucktown areas. We will absolutely stay again. Many thanks to Charlie.
The beds were great. Plenty of room for us. Seemed like a safe neighborhood. Restaurants within walking distance.
Nice, comfortable, well maintained, good location.
Good sized rooms and king sized beds. Well stocked kitchen. Two minor issues: lower level can be cold while upstairs level is perfect; and occasional noise from units above (drains from toilets and walking around with hard heels).
