You’ll love my place because of the completely remodeled urban cottage feel with a backyard and brick patio to relax in. Close to everything.

There is a sunny and secluded brick patio to relax in after your Charleston day. Avondale is a short walk and was voted by Charleston as the best neighborhood in town! Mellow Mushroom pizza, The Roost sports bar, sandwich shop, Pearls oyster bar, the oldest bar in Charleston Genes's Hofbrau (a dive), a good coffee shop, a new brewery, Aldi La Italian restaurant, Triangle Char Bar, Harris Teeter is a block away. The location makes all of Charleston convenient. Especially downtown and the beach. The house is completely remodeled. Hardwood floors, marble countertops, jaccuzi tub, beautiful live oak trees, and plenty of room to kick back and relax. A seasonal farmer's market is also within walking distance.

The house has wifi. User name and password is on the router. There is a separate room that with a couch and a flat screen with Blue-ray player. The upstairs queen has a Tempur-pedic mattress and the downstairs queen is a comfortable pillow top mattress. You have to walk through the bedroom with two twins to get to the upstairs bathroom. Perfect for place for the kids. The half bath is downstairs, and the master bedroom has the other full bath downstairs. We are an ocean minded family. If you leave before 11:00 AM, it is a straight 10.4 mile shot to Folly Beach and you will avoid the unavoidable beach traffic. We head for the west end and go straight for the public parking with bathroom and a wooden walkway leading to the beach. Folly has life guards near the pier. The pier is another cherished beach day spot and has plenty of parking. Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms are a bit farther, but leaving early will get you there with less hassle. Have lunch at Poe's. If it is too packed when you are there, any of the other places are good too. We go all the way to the end of Sullivan's where the Fort is. The beach is actually in the harbor and the boat/ship watching is fantastic. Charlestown Landing is a couple miles away. Great place for a bike ride, a walk, some history and beautiful scenery. Kids love it. Magnolia Plantation is 8 miles away. if you like will not forget experiencing this jewel. The food and beverage scene downtown is approaching world class. Locals are easy to talk to, and relish telling visitors about their favorite spots. Be fearless and get off the beaten path a little. I am here to help if picking a restaurant gets overwhelming. If you end up at Hyman's, you are not trying hard enough! Shem Creek has about as authentic local seafood experience as we have left. If you are brave I can help you get to some spots that are off the reservation and worth your trip. Enjoy your stay!!

Loved the property

We didn't know what to expect but were very pleased. The property was nice and in a great location. Lynn, the owner, was exceptional, and continued to offer assistance throughout our stay. She always replied within minutes and was very pleasant. We will definitely use this property again, without question.

Cute house! Great location to downtown Charleston, close by to lots of restaurants, bars, shops.

Great house for our girls getaway weekend. Beds were very comfy, spacious kitchen and living room area. Only about a 10 minute uber to downtown. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Charming Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

This home is in a great location and was really comfortable for a girls’s trip. It was close to Folly Beach, delicious restaurants and wonderful shopping. The owners even had beach chairs and towels available. The neighborhood felt safe. We had an amazing timing visiting Charleston.

We were disappointed with the house.

The house has a bad musty smell. If the owners would install a dehumidifier, we believe that would take care of the smell. There is too much moisture in the house. The front windows were covered with mold on the outside of the house. It would require just a few extra minutes to wash them, so the house could be more appealing. Finally, cockroaches were very much alive and running across the floors.

Cute house, great location!

Loved your house, perfect for a long weekend to visit Charleston area. New kitchen with bar seating was great! (Minor maintenance things though - I replaced light bulbs in master closet & shower, glad you had spares. Master shower water is so restricted wife washed her hair in kitchen, beautiful new kitchen faucet is loose.) These things did not damper our great stay in your place - loved it.

Perfect Spot in Charleston

My girlfriends and I came to Charleston for the weekend and had an amazing time. The house is in a great location and is only about a $7/$8 uber to downtown. There are also so many places to eat and drink within walking distance. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the patio. There was plenty of space for 4 of us (1 of the other girls couldn't make it last minute). Overall, we had a fabulous time.
