This outstanding spacious villa is arranged over two floors with a belvedere terrace and a large roof terrace.
On the ground floor
From the impressive and colorful entrance hall is the lateral living and to two large en-suite bedrooms with uninterrupted sea views from the private terrace. The main staircase will lead you to the roof terrace, or to the en-suite bedrooms below. The elegant detailing that runs throughout the villa creates a sense of grandeur which is well-matched to the liveliness of the interiors.
The modern open plan kitchen area is well positioned to serve the large open plan dining and living area. A library features both in the reception room adjoining the main dining room. Additionally, there a second reception room with a library. All these rooms give on to the long belvedere terrace overlooking the vineyards.
On the lower level
As you move downstairs to follow the large corridors lined with an exuberant display of artworks, you will find three comfortable double suites displaying a delicate blend of considered Italian finishes and the highest quality fixtures and fittings. The work space area converts into additional sleeping as two single fold away wall beds can be discreetly unfolded in the sitting area.
These suites give onto the arcaded patio with the exclusive view of the sunken garden. All have a private dressing room and a bathroom. Each one of these is contemporary in style and finished in stone-coloured wax concrete with his and hers basins, large showers and WC.
A separate building near the pool area is totally self-contained. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge with an extra bed if needed, a double bedroom and bathroom. Outdoor it has a terrace on the ground floor and a beautiful rooftop terrace.
On the roof terrace
The open-air kitchen and dining provides an exceptional vantage point for views of the bucolic landscape spread before it while dining. This gem is ideal for sitting around the large table taking your meals with freshly barbecued fish you may have got from the Siracusa’s fish market. Perfect for family games and fun, enjoying the breeze.
The Garden and landscape
As you move from the main gate through the meadows and pathways to this newly built residence, there is a lot more to see than meets the eye. Here landscape architect Ivan Gallo has created a distinctive atmosphere conveying a true sense of the place reflecting the culture, customs and the endearing poetry of the area.
It’s all about rhythm and connections creating natural movements around the villa in total osmosis with the lingering views beyond. Ethereal and lyrical as this may seem with the plants chosen for their suitability to the Mediterranean climate, it is totally dazzling – a case of love at first sight.
The relaxing area by the large infinity pool comes complete with sun deck and sun loungers, two shaded terrace areas and a raised lounging terrace offers tantalizing sunset views set in complete harmony with the natural surroundings. Changing rooms, showers and WC are discreetly at hand.
The roof-terrace with its splendid outdoor kitchen & living area
As far as outdoor kitchens go, this one is a great show place for an amateur grill chef to host heavenly lunches at the sturdy country table. Or, if you’re so inclined, it is the ideal place to roll out the dough for home-made pasta! The outdoor lounge with comfy sofas is just right and close enough for pre-lunch drinks or for a light siesta afterwards.
The sunken garden
The covered arcade from the lower bedrooms allows for complete privacy and some cool shade where you may like to refresh and contemplate the view of the sunken garden and its baroque undertones.
The incredible views of Vendicari wildlife at sunset
From this remarkable spot it is not uncommon to see terns, egrets, flamingoes and storks spread out all over the salt marshes as well as horses in the neighboring land.
