This condo features a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed and twin bed in the second bedroom, as well as a pull-out sleeper for accompanying children or the occasional overnight guest. TV's and ice cold A/C units in each room (both bedrooms and living room), ensure guest comfort year round, and vaulted ceilings create an open, airy feel.

The kitchen has been recently remodeled. Granite counter tops new stainless steel appliances and added recessed lighting in a kitchen stocked with all necessary cookware and utensils to prepare and serve meals. A breakfast bar, dining table, and patio set offer you and your family members multiple options for dining--a quick breakfast, a sit-down dinner, or coffee on the lanai, listening to the swaying palms. You'll never want to leave!

The Maui Banyan Resort features two swimming pools, complete with spacious pool decks, hot tubs, outdoor showers, and restroom facilities. Great location

Nice accommodation, fantastic location and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Our unit had everything we needed. Snorkel rentals, stores and restaurants all nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Close walk to everything ! Would of liked to have had the main bathroom renovated like the other one... as the ad said renovated but the location was great especially if you have elderly people who cannot walk far or kids ??

The Maui Condo and Car rental experience was a bit trying to say the least. The door to the master bathroom came off the hinge multiple times during the stay and required us to contact the management office to schedule someone to come out. The door between the bedroom and living room was similarly flawed. The couch did not conveniently fit 3-4 people on to it, and was uncomfortable when watching movies. The lock to the patio has been jacked enough times that it seems to imply multiple break in attempts. The management team didn't include multiple parking permits despite my preparation in telling them to do so. My car couldve been towed or fined in the length of time it took to send someone to drop off another permit. The management company only provided enough dishwashing liquid for 2-3 uses, and did the same for the laundry detergent. Seemed quite stingy honestly. Oh, and the place was crawling with ants. Like, crawling. I had to recoil in horror a few times at how many would be out when Id come back to the unit and eventually had to safeguard the kitchen before leaving (although they would still come back). Overall the space was conveniently located and "good enough" but didn't present the polish I was hoping for.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Looking back on your reservation notes, I see that you called our office one time to report the door and parking permit, both items were addressed within 24 hours of notice. Additionally, we informed the property to let them know about the lack of permit, and assured you that you would not be fined or towed. The lanai door has not been damaged, nor has their ever been a report of a suspected tampering or break-in at any time in this second floor condo. Rest assured, it is in a high-visibility area along the parking drive, where security patrols frequently. As outlined in your confirmation, and as is common in vacation rentals, starter kits are provided for guests that include soaps/shampoos, detergent for three loads of laundry, dish detergent for three loads of dishes, 2 garbage bags per bathroom and bedroom garbage can, unlimited garbage liners for kitchen garbage cans, paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, linens and towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella, cleaning supplies, and any leftover spices, oils, foil, and saran wrap left by previous guests -- keep in mind, in a vacation home, you're expected to furnish your own food and supplies above and beyond the aforementioned. Unlike a hotel, supplies are not replenished during your stay. Ants are commonplace in a tropical environment, as is pointed out in your confirmation and in our condo book. To best avoid attracting them, it is important that you store your food in airtight containers (provided), zip-lock bags, or in the refrigerator. Additionally, these pesky ants are attracted to water, so after cleaning your kitchen, we advise guests to wipe up any excess water using a dry paper towel. We treat our condo quarterly, and more often if evidence of bugs presents itself. We've scheduled a professional treatment for next week, upon receipt of this review. If, during your stay, you see any evidence of pests, notify our office immediately. We can quickly correct this.
