Dive into a wide range of outdoor adventures and fun when you book your next escape to this dog-friendly Sugarloaf home. Boasting a prime location and a private hot tub to melt the stress away, this home is the perfect spot to unwind in style.
Set in a quiet neighborhood just seven-and-a-half miles from the fun-filled slopes at the Bear Mountain Ski Resort, you'll be able to explore the local trails, downhill runs, and close-by attractions with ease. When the temperatures drop, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to arrive safely.
Bright and cheery, the wood-beamed ceilings and rock-faced gas fireplace frame the main living area with touches of elegance. Kick back on the plush couch while you binge watch a show when you log into your personal Netflix account on the smart flatscreen HDTV.
Take a local microbrew out on the deck to take in the tree-lined views and fresh mountain air. Connect to the WiFi to send off an email or find a recipe to try out on the gas grill.
Head back inside to get to work on the main dish in the updated kitchen. Featuring modern stainless steel appliances, custom stone counters, and a gourmet gas range, cooking for every picky palate will be a breeze. Enjoy your meal at the chic, rustic dining room table while the dishwasher takes care of the cleanup.
As the day slowly fades away, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home will let up to six guests stay in comfort. Dogs are also welcome, though please note the nightly pet fee. Head upstairs to all the bedrooms so Fido can find the perfect spot to curl up. In the master bedroom, you'll be greeted by a rejuvenating king-size bed and tree-lined views. In the second bedroom there is a queen-size bed, while the third room has another queen-size bed as well as a twin-size bed for your guests. If you need more sleeping space there is a sofabed available as well.
Wake up early and be the first one on the slopes at Bear Mountain Ski Resort so you can shred the fresh powder and cut your own trail. Get a lesson with a pro so you can work on your form, or push your limits on some of the advanced runs. Snowboarders will be able to work on their moves at the terrain park at the Snow Summit Ski Resort just a short distance northwest of Bear Mountain.
During the warmer months, you'll have a bevy of trails and hidden fishing spots to enjoy. Rent a boat to get out on the waves of Big Bear Lake with some water skis, or maybe something a little slower like a stand-up paddleboard for some picturesque exercise. Back at home you can sink into the bubbling hot tub and ease your muscles after a long day of exploring.
Whether you come for the snow or the sunshine, this Southern California mountain getaway is the perfect spot to dive into adventure and relaxation!

About Vacasa, CA - Southern California Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

We stayed at Pine Ellis Lodge over Easter weekend and had a fantastic time. The home looked better in person than the pictures. I would recommend Pine Ellis Lodge to anyone coming to Sugar Loaf or Big Bear.
Very adorable home!
This home is very clean, adorably decorated, and fully equipped with just about everything you could need- except for a crockpot... so if you are dreaming of having a crockpot meal after hours of skiing, be sure to bring your own. Luckily there are plenty of local takeout restaurants on the drive back to the cabin.
Very cute home! The home is clean, well-organized, and supplied with just about everything you could possibly need... except for a crockpot.
We loved the home and what it offered. Cozy living room with a functional fireplace, beautiful kitchen with everything we needed to make a meal. Very clean and mell maitained home. The only suggestion I would have would be to maybe inclose the backyard, the listing says pet friendly. So I was hoping to let my dog loose to enjoy the outdoors but the neighbors dogs seem to roam around the property without any disregard to other pets.
Go to big bear!
we had the best time
Cozy cabin with everything you need
We had a great time at this cabin and it was perfect for spending time with friends, cooking meals together, working on puzzles, relaxing in the hot tub, or talking a nice walk/hike. Highly recommend this spot!
