The area where the house is located is located in the "Costa Verde", which is between "Capo Frasca" in the north and "Capo Pecora" in the south, along 47 km of coast, all under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Arbus .
In this coast there are, from north to south and along the coast, the following inhabited centers: Pistis, Torre dei Corsari, Tunaria, Gutturu 'and Flumini, Maga.
The most "wild", where cement proved to be less aggressive and nature expresses itself at its most spontaneous, it is certainly Gutturu 'e Flumini.
Along this coast, there are ample possibilities for using the cleanest sea in the whole island. Among these, purely aquatic activities. Starting from the beach life (at Pistis, Torre dei Corsari and Piscinas, there are also beach services, with kiosks and related activities ..), with a more marine activity (such as fishing - from shore, at sea or by boat - snorkeling and / or diving also guided with special equipment, pleasure boating, with the possibility of renting a boat, with or without a driver). Various kinds of excursions are easily possible, ranging, for example, from "tour" on foot (with trekking in flat or mountain areas) or with the use of bikes, horses, quads and off-road vehicles ... Furthermore, possible visits to extremely important mining sites (the Montevecchio and Ingurtosu complex was among the most important in Europe, especially in the extraction of lead and zinc, are available within a few km; the former washing facilities are noteworthy). of the minerals, which can be found in Naracauli and, finally, of rare beauty are the visits to the art nouveau office building of Montevecchio and the visit to its mining and mineralogical and natural museum with the adjoining dioramas station ...) ; worth a visit, of course, is the Arbus knife museum (where the biggest knife in the world, already world record holder ...) and the nearby town of Guspini (where, among other things, there are the columnar basaltic formations, over twenty meters high and shaped like organ pipes, dating back about three million years ago). Finally, there are possibilities for simple excursions to get to know our area better. Starting from Mount Arcuentu, with its natural history of volcano before and of control castle on the Campidano plain and then its legend of strange night witches; the wonderful itineraries that from Montevecchio lead to the sea, the simple house of the poet with his love for nature; the pond of Marceddì with its tradition linked to S. Antonio di Santadi and to what is one of the greatest votive promises in terms of kilometers traveled on foot; the marine colony of Funtanazza, in all its landscape splendor; to finish, just to leave much more space to everyone's imagination, the unparalleled sand desert of Piscinas: the largest and most extensive in the whole European continent, with its sandy landscapes, its colors and its pronounced voices from the wind, from the deer and from the gulls ...
