About Rollin M. Lunders
We moved to the mountains of Colorado in 1974, fell in love with all it has to offer and have made it our cherished home. Here we raised our two children who are amazing young adults now. Over the years we built our house, 2-story garage with guest room and barn and have treated the land with care. Skiing, hiking, gardening, raising our own beef, landscaping the property and enjoying our dog and cat keep life interesting. To that, we add traveling both afar and near with all the variety that is in the Four Corners. Yes, we find time to pursue our careers. Rollin is a self-employed consulting geologist and Robin is an educator.

Why Rollin M. Lunders chose Mancos
We purchased the cabin in fall 2010 from our friend George and his family who used it as a vacation getaway. George and his wife Margaret built this log cabin at the same time we created our home so we had a lot in common and enjoyed seeing them when they or their family members came to get away from it all. Since buying the cabin we have been working hard and having fun getting it ready to be a vacation rental. Much refinishing and insulating to make it winter worthy. In 2015 we remodeled the one room bunkhouse and added a bathroom, kitchenette, and deck, turning it into a compact uniquely crafted 2nd cabin. We live just a short walk away and enjoy offering this comfortable vacation property for your next getaway into nature. We are located in beautiful Echo Basin by the entrance of the San Juan National Forest with the Echo Basin Loop Drive. We are a five-mile drive from Mancos, Colorado with nearby Mesa Verde National Park, Ute Mountain Tribal Park and so many other exciting and interesting destinations.
What makes this Cabin unique
We love to relax on the shaded porch with a cool drink while watching the deer, listening to the birdsong and watching a gorgeous sunset. In the fall the aspen and Gambel oak trees in the area afford an amazing color show. Whether you are in the area for outdoor sports activities, sightseeing or just relaxing, these cabins are a great place to stay.
