About Lieschen O'Neill
Bradley and Candace Noonan were born in South Africa. They married, as high school sweethearts in 2002 and are blessed with an amazing son who is 10 years old. Bradley graduated with a BBA before he and Cands packed life up in South Africa to travel and explore the the world. After 6 years, 4 continents and 48 states, they decided to settle in Florida. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he partnered with an esteemed restauranteur and purchased the historic Downtowner Saloon in Fort Lauderdale. Running the business successfully through one of the toughest economical climates the country has seen of late, he finally sold it in 2013 to dedicate time to his secondary business, Pyrad. Pyrad International, where Bradley is in partnership with his high school friend, started in 2007, brokering specialized computer parts. Seeing the potential for growth, this is where his focus has been, growing the business from inception to a company with impressive revenues. Bradley is a proverbial entrepreneur, taking on many business opportunities that present themselves. Most recently he has focused on a start-up in the holistic pet- remedy Internet business. He also holds a real estate license, working with private equity groups to obtain commercial and residential income properties. Bradley is, along with his wive, an avid yogi. He is partners in a yoga school and studio that just enjoyed the opening of a second location to great success. Above all, although a successful business person, he strives to approach all his encounters with passion and integrity. And Ocalafornia presents the opportunity for him, and his family to realize the dream of living more simply, giving back and creating an environment of peace. He draws his inspiration from Bob Marley: “Don’t sell your soul to gain the world, wisdom is worth much more than silver & gold" Candace Noonan is a Licensed Esthetician and Master Trainer for DermaConcepts, exclusive distributor of Environ Skin Care in the USA, and

Why Lieschen O'Neill chose Ocklawaha
Bradley and Candace split their time between Delray Beach, FL and their passion-project; Ocalafornia. The original piece of land they purchased back in 2014, "The Manicured Piece" was their initial exposure to the peace and pleasure that living simply could bring. Feeling more grounded, centered and connected, the balance of the 26 acre farm took some time and coordination to put together. But even at that infancy stage of growth, the vision was developing in Bradley's mind. Bradley is an avid Yogi and is partners in a successful Yoga school with two locations. Ocalafornia has been used by Anatara Yoga Studio to host it's Teacher Training Retreats.

We had only a short trip for 2 night at the property, I was blown away. It is quiet, secluded, opened and wide, there are trees, there is the lake that I had a coffee every morning, it was simply amazing. It is equipped with everything you would need to satisfy basic needs and that was we were aiming for. Sitting around the fire, barbecuing, just siting and talking, playing cards, perfect relaxation. The kids had a blast as well, they had all the opened space they needed. The vibe of the property is excellent, the right world to describe it would be serenity. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are so happy that you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property as much as we do. We will look forward to having you back anytime.
Private retreat after a long days work....
We were working a short project in the Ocala area and needed a place to sleep 10 for a week. After many phone calls to the surrounding hotels with overpriced rooms we settled on Ocalafornia.
This place had plenty of room to spread out and relax after a long days work. If you can get past the 3 minute hot showers in the cabins....your set because there was plenty of hot water in the main house. We didn't venture out to much as we worked long hours but the local supermarket was about 4 miles from the site. We grilled out on the grill every night and relaxed with cold beers next the campfire.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get out and enjoy what Ocala's lakefront properties can offer. Great place to host a big event if needed.
Private, peaceful retreat -- great for large groups!
We celebrated my husband's and close friend's birthdays here with a group of friends and their families, and we definitely would come back again. The owner, Lieschen, was extremely helpful and responsive, and the property is very thoughtfully laid out. There is plenty to do and lots of room to spread out. You also can't beat the view! We went during December, so it was cool enough to have a campfire every night, and the owner provided us with plenty of firewood. The house is stocked with pretty much everything you'll need, too.
We left the property only once during our stay, and that was to check out MB's Tiki Hut, which is located pretty much directly across the lake. The staff is awesome and they have great deals on food and beer, so if you can, stop by and check it out.
A few things worth mentioning:
1) The sleeping arrangements are decent, as there are plenty of beds for people, but the single beds that my husband and I slept on in one of lakefront cabins (#2) were VERY loud and squeaky. It might have had to do with the cold weather, as they're wooden frames, but it's worth noting. Also, the cabins do not have heaters, only AC units, so if you go there when it's colder weather, pack extra blankets.
2) For a place that can host such a large group, we were a little disappointed to learn that the big fridge in the main house was locked and off-limits, which left us (a group of 14-16) with only a smaller top-freezer refrigerator to store our food and drink items. We had seen the large stainless steel fridge pictured in another listing of the property and didn't notice the lock on it, so were caught off guard when we arrived. Pack extra coolers, and you should be fine!
3) The showers in the cabins warrant about 30 seconds of hot water, as many of us discovered, so either be super fast or head to the main house to get cleaned up. Also, there is a very strong sulfur smell to the water, so bring plenty of your own to drink.
Beautiful, Big and Fun.
Our youth group stayed for 2 nights, we were able to fit everyone and had nothing short of a blast. This was an unforgettable location where we were able to make unforgettable memories.
All of our kids loved it, from the game room, to the open space and definitely the lake. its perfectly secluded but had all the amenities we needed. We loved it and are already planning on coming back! We recommend it for sure.
