Beautiful location, clean and comfortable cabin
Excellent location, close to parks and river. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Loved the fireplace during our February stay. Looking forward to trying this spot again in the warmer months. Thanks for everything!
We loved it
We were very impressed with the place and plan on using the same cabin again
Peaceful and picturesque
Would recommend! Absolutely nothing negative to say about this place!
Nice cabin on a stream.
Enjoyed our weekend at Coleman Creek, even with muddy hikes.
Cabin has everything basic needed for food prep (we brought a pot of stew already ready to put on stove top). Since it was wet outside, it would have been good to bring dry kindling for the fireplace, although there were plenty of logs (some of them not quite seasoned).
Very pretty and comfortable cabin in the woods
My husband and I shared the cabin with my brother and were delighted to find such a cozy, beautifully furnished place. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner most nights. The cabin is well-situated for exploring Cook's Forest, and the stream in the back is lovely. We were ok without wifi, but expect that some would not be. Definitely would stay again.
My wife and I stayed at the cabin for an anniversary weekend and loved it. The deck out back having a cup or coffee or watching the stars while you listen to the creek run by is exactly what we wanted. It is away from the busier cabin/canoe rental areas but close enough to get there easily. Enjoy!
Cook Forest, once known as the Black Forest for the primeval stands of ancient, towering white pine and hemlock, follows the contours of the Clarion River, designated a Wild & Scenic waterway. The banks of Coleman Run provide an excellent base for hikers, hunters, birders, and boaters, and the peace and quiet is nearly unmatched.
