House “Thöny”, with its unique central location, is situated directly behind the train station (lift and bridge connection) with direct access to the chair lift and the Weisshorn cable car. The home ski run finishes 50 m adjacent to the house. Bank, post office, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants and bars all within 200 metres.

3 1/2 room apartment on the third floor:
This charming family holiday apartment has a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. It hosts 2 bedrooms (4 + 2), living room, kitchen cum dining area (including dishwasher) and bathroom with shower/toilet.
The large master bedroom has a double bed, two bunk beds (2 m length), a large fitted wardrobe and a dressing table. The smaller bedroom accomodates two single beds, a fitted wardrobe and a dressing table.
The spacious living room has a large settee and a bed sofa. In the fitted wall unit, there is cable TV, including English speaking channels, and DVD player.
The bright kitchen cum dining area sits 6-7 people. For small children, a high chair and cot are available.
The apartment is suited for max. 6 adults or for 4 adults plus 2-3 children. For more people the adjoining studio can be rented as well.

Studio on the third floor:
This charming studio, located on the top floor, has a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. It hosts a living room with kitchenette, a sleeping gallery woth double bed and a bathroom with shower/toilet.

Year Purchased: 2003

About the owner: English wife and Swiss husband who met up in Geneva, travelled the world and then decided to settle in the Appenzell hills of Switzerland. Our love of nature and sport attracted us to buy our second home in Arosa.

Why the Owner Chose Arosa, Switzerland:
We discovered Arosa 20 years ago, fell in love with the resort straight away and have been coming here ever since. Our love of skiing led us to many skiing resorts but the charm and beauty of Arosa attracted us to this wonderful place. We were attracted to this house because of its unique location with all the facilities within walking distance of our house.

Thanks to it’s pure mountain air, Arosa was already discovered in the 1920’s by people from all over Europe who came to convalesce in its renowned sanatoriums.
