This newly painted and largely updated corner town home/condo is part of the beautiful Bermuda Bay development in St. Petersburgh, Fla. The gated complex has 2 large and well maintained pools, recently updated tennis courts and has a dedicated beach area and raquet ball courts. The use of these facilities is all part of the rental. Dedicated parking is also included right outside the front door. This condo/townhome has a nice full kitchen and 2 newly refurbished bedrooms with dedicated/en-suite bath's in each. One of them has just been gut rehabbed this year.
The downstairs Living area has a screened porch attached in the back and is steps away from a park notable for its' native live oak trees. These high lite the view from both bedrooms. Smoking is allowed on the porch, but nowhere else in the house. The park adjacent also has a children's play area.
The facility is located 20 minutes from the Tampa airport and is situated on Boca Ciega Bay which looks across the bay to downtown Gulfport. It is a 10 - 15 minute drive to St. Pete Beach which boast one of the most beautiful beaches and beach communities in all of Florida.. There are laundry facilities, a game room and vending machines on sight. Fishing, hiking, biking, boating and kyaking are all options available to vacationers in Gulfport, at the the beach and right on the Bay, in front of the complex.
The town home is fully furnished with furniture and beds that were all purchased new in 2017. There are some 1200+ square feet of living space in the unit and the kitchen has all the necessary appliances (ie stove, fridge, dishwasher, utensils, coffee maker etc..) to insure a great in home meal option. I love the beach, the sun and the vibe. I'm also a big fan of biking, tennis and swimming and the facility allows for plenty of on sight tennis and water sport options and has ready access to some great bike trails adjacent to the property.

The proximity to the airport, downtown St. Pete and the beach, is perfect for folks who are looking for very convenient vacationing and travel. In addition the professional baseball team (the Rays) and the hockey team (the Lightening) also play nearby. St. Pete is just a very easy place to start from to get to lots of stuff and activities that are fun to do.

EXCEPTIONAL FLORIDA GETAWAY
A "home away from home" truly describes this gem of a vacation home.
The 2-storey town-home has everything you need for a really enjoyable holiday.
The beds are comfortable and each bedroom has a 4-piece bathroom, which is a plus. The master suite has 2 walk-in closets and a lovely built-in makeup vanity just outside the bathroom.
There are plenty of linens and kitchen stores. You can easily make meals in the well-equipped kitchen.
There is a lovely lanai where you can sit and enjoy nature or have your breakfast or have a quiet read.
The wi-fi and cable TV work very well and are more than adequate for your needs, with 2 TV's, one of which is conveniently placed in the master suite.
The grounds are lovely and there are 2 pools - we found the one by the laundromat less crowded and almost always in the sun. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful.
The location is great - close to downtown St. Petersburg; 10 minutes to the Gulf Beaches and close to the major highways if you want to explore. For groceries and supplies, there are a Walmart SuperStore and a Publix Supermarket right around the corner.
All in all, a wonderful place to vacation for anyone - families, couples, singles. We highly recommend it.

VERY DISAPPOINTING PROPERTY!!!!
The property was listed as being fully rehabbed... only one of the 2 bathrooms had any upgrades on it and there was a piece of tape on the wall, in that bathroom, stating that there was "no bathing option available in this bathroom" - this was the rehab!!! The other bathtub was very rusty... At no time during the discussions with the owner did he mention anything about this. We walked in, looked at the property and left. Despite the owners claims that both he and his wife both cleaned the unit, it had not been cleaned... We called the owner, told him we would not be staying and he immediately told us he would not be refunding our money because he was losing out on a rental & the unit was a beautiful unit??? You will notice that there are no pictures of the bathrooms or kitchen... there is a reason for that, they all need major updating & cleaning!!! The owner misrepresented the property...
Well.. not sure where to start with Barry. He arrived with another party (he did not mention while booking) and a member of the other duo decided she "smelled smoke". I have owned this unit 3 years and my tenant did not smoke, nor do I, or any of my family. Guests are able to smoke on the porch, but that is it. In the meantime the entire unit has been painted twice in the 3 years I have owned it.
After Barry told me of the phantom smoke smell that would not allow his friend to stay there, he then added that the kitchen was not clean enough, presumably to get him from paying me for the time he had booked, (as he didn't smell smoke either). I told Barry I'd have the service come and clean the kitchen, but his smoke deluded friend could not work with that. They left. End of story.
A couple of notes about the balance. One bathroom has been gut rehabbed in its entirety. In the rehab we weren't able to get the right spigot for the tub, so the bath does not currently work. The shower works great, but I hope to get the spigot fixed soon. Indeed the other bath and the kitchen are of original construct. Not flashy, but functional. So if you are a big bather, and/or cook/chef and that's what you like to do on vacation .. I'd look for another unit on the property. The completely rehabbed ones are there, they just aren't as reasonably priced which Barry may have forgotten to remember.
As for the other, I have recently had the unit professionally cleaned and will do so again after every guest leaves, at my expense. So if some one thinks a space is not clean to their standard, that can be fixed and I have done that. Not that difficult. In the meantime, I have just added pictures of the kitchen. Like I said nothing flashy, but very functional and the fridge and microwave are less than 1 year old. The rest of the furniture in the unit with the exception of the couch is new as of 3/17, including the beds.
Barry - good luck. I believe you misrepresented yourself as someone who might have been reasonable to work with. Other people renting units, please note, he isn't.
