A cozy apartment on the street level of a comfortable 19th century South End townhouse. The unit offers a cheery front-facing room (which includes a full kitchen area along one wall, a living room area with a full size sleep sofa, and a small dining area next to the front windows), a bath, and a bedroom with a queen bed. It is situated about 4 steps below ground level in the front with full windows, and one level above ground in the back at the bedroom. Just 5-10 minutes from the Back Bay subway station and Copley Square and a few blocks to trendy Tremont Street with many of the city’s hottest restaurants. It is a short walk to the Silver Line transit to downtown, South Station, the Boston Convention Center, and Logan Airport. All linens and kitchen items are included. Parking garages are nearby for a fee. Note: there is a slight noise in winter when the heat is on.

In winter we rent this apartment monthly unless it is short notice.

Excellent experience

We took our grandson for his 10th birthday. The location was perfect and central to all attractions. We could walk most places and UBER if we wanted. Very easy to get UBER or LYFT pickups. The facility was spartan, but clean, comfortable, good shower, nice beds and very importantly in July excellent air conditioning. The owner was extremely responsive to any requests and anxious that we have a good experience. I would highly recommend this facility.

A clean and comfortable basement space in a wonderful neighborhood

This apartment is in an amazing section of Boston, we immediately fell in love with the neighborhood. Completely safe, walking distance to nearly everything we wanted to do and super close to transit. Contact the host if you intend to park, as parking in Boston is tricky. The apartment was very clean, quiet, bug free and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. We didnt use the air conditioners but they would have been much appreciated in the summer. Host was extremely responsive and checked in with us to make sure we were happy. We would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment is located in a nice place near Symphony

The owner who lives in the same building was reachable (this is not always like that with VRBO rentals!) and could solve very rapidly the problems we encountered upon arrival.

Fantastic Location for a Girls Trip

3 of us girlfriends stayed here in Boston for 5 days and loved the location. Located close to everything. The one bedroom is very roomy and provides all the amenities needed. It was easy to work with the owner. I would recommend staying here! Thanks for sharing your home!

Charming basement apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. It was centrally located, close to transport and many nice restaurants. The living room and bathroom are in need of a bit of a spruce up, but overall it was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The main bed was extremely comfortable. Julia was a delightful host and was helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Boston.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
