Cute, Comfortable Apartment in Center of Bologna
We rented this apartment for one month because of its central location to lively downtown Bologna with its hundreds of restaurants to satisfy any pasta or salumi cravings you may have. Plus, the apartment is within walking distance to the train station should you wish to take the many day trips to such places as Rimini, Ravenna, Florence, and Venice to name a few. The beauty of having a base from which to travel is that you don’t need to carry luggage everywhere you go. The owner of this apartment is Marina, a beautiful Italian lady, who lives nearby and is available for any questions you may have during your stay. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and quiet with a quaint deck from which to relax, read, or enjoy the sunshine. Thank you Marina for allowing us to stay in your apartment.
Our short but lovely stay in Bologna
Marina’s apt. was in a perfect location for shopping, eating and simply enjoying the wonderful culture of Bologna. Herdecorating style is impeccable. Cute outside terrace to sit and have coffee or wine or what I enjoyed...limoncello! Thank you again, Marina!
Great 1BR Apartment in the heart of Bologna
This is a great 1BR apartment in the heart of Bologna. It has everything you need for a couple to stay in the city. The owner, Marina, is right next door and is very sweet. She checks on you to see if you need anything and even offers you espresso and beer! We could walk to train station in 30 minutes and catch a bus just a block from the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for centrally located lodging that is not a hotel!
Small but central apartment with eclectic decor
This apartment is in an excellent location whereby you are in walking distance of central Bologna. The owner is charming and has some useful information on local shops for breakfast and general shopping. The appartment is compact but has most things you need. It also has a charming balcony that faces into a shaded courtyard.
This is our second visit to this apartment. Clean and extremely comfortable with a great terrace to sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine. Marina is really charming and will help with anything you need. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.
A Great Stay
Our host, Marina, could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The location was quiet yet within a few minutes walk of all the sites. The property was lovely with all the facilities we needed including excellent air conditioning and was beautifully, furnished/decorated in an authentic style for what was an original old building in the centre of Bologna. We felt secure and comfortable and would return and happily recommend to anyone who wants a proper Italian experience.
