Durango Hills Mountain ""Tiny House"""""

Bedrooms Studio
Space 400 sq. ft.
Property type guest house

About the property

Cozy mountain guest house. Studio style, but with a full bathroom and kitchen.

This is an almost round 400sq. ft guest house. It is set up similar to a studio, but has a fully equipped, full size kitchen, a separate bathroom with a shower, and since it is round there is a lot of space to move around in. Also has an east facing deck as well as a south facing patio with a gas grill. Great views and spectacular sunrises and sunsets highlight this location. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Durango, so you can enjoy peace and quiet or take advantage of all the excitement that the town and surrounding areas have to offer. Hiking, snowshoeing and bikes trails are close by, as well as nordic, backcountry and alpine skiing. We are coffee roasters, so you can enjoy FREE fresh roasted coffee. NO Smoking or pets allowed. Maximum stay is 7 nights. Maximum of 2 people.

Please use these directions when coming to the house. GPS sends people on a shorter, way rougher route!

cozy and private

  • 5 of 5

We loved his place for its location way off the beaten path, the cozy comforts (all necessary amenities, with a no frills functional and well designed layout), the friendly welcome by the owner, and of course the location in our favorite part of the world.

Beautiful, Cozy & Cute

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. We spent a lot of time just relaxing at the tiny house because of how peaceful it was. Beth was very accommodating for us as well, and was so great to coordinate with. I have already recommended to several friends that they take a trip to Durango and stay here. Look no further, this is the PERFECT place for a 2-person getaway.

We had a amazing time at the tiny house! It was beautiful and so well decorated. Beth and Wade are so kind and helpful. Even when we were dumb Texans and got our car stuck on the mountain due to some ice, they came and rescued us! And their coffee is amazing! The coffee is worth the trip alone!

Tiny House is HUGE on hospitality.

  • 5 of 5

Incredibly quiet weekend get away. Located in Durango, but you would never know it from the wooded location of the tiny house. The hosts provide locally ground coffee and all the conveniences of a full size rental in this adorable tiny house. We sat in the reclining leather chairs, read books and drank coffee. We watched for wildlife (bears were having a hard time finding food and approaching houses) but all we saw was a gray house cat. It did appear to be on a hunt, though! My only advise would be to bring your own hair dryer, but the hosts are so friendly, they would probably lend you one.
