Wonderful D.C. Vacation

My wife, son and I stayed at Steve's VRBO from Oct. 28 to Nov. 4 and had a wonderful time. Steve met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment and explained various things to us in order to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He also left us some muffins, orange juice and bottled water to get us started, nice touch. He was also readily available via text if you had any questions.The apartment is very clean and welcoming. The weather was in the 65 to 80 degree range so we even enjoyed the outdoor sitting area in the evenings. The metro line is very close which made it easy to get to the Redskins game and to Arlington Memorial Cemetery. We used the metro bus line to get to some of the other attractions or we just walked. The U.S. capitol building is only 4 or 5 blocks away so the location is very convenient for sightseeing and it is approx. 3 blocks to the Eastern Market, Trader Joe's and a CVS pharmacy and restaurants on 7th and 8th street. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental property to anyone and will certainly return when in town for another Redskins football game. Thank you Steve

Our daughter did the decorating, our son supports everyone's electronics, and all of us (wife included) are available to assist our guests. We designed this to be a place we would want to stay, and it seems like we have succeeded. Feels good.

Beautiful comfortable apartment

My husband and I loved staying at Steve's beautiful apartment. We were graciously greeted upon arrival and after a tour of the apartment we settled right in to relax in the extremely comfortable rooms. The parking pass was greatly appreciated. All the museum's, monuments and federal buildings were within walking distance. The Library of Congress and Washington National Cathedral are definitely a must see. We could not have found a nicer or more convenient place for our vacation in Washington D.C.

Great location and Great accommodations!

We spent quite a bit of time trying to find the best place to stay in the DC area and may I say that "WE found it!!" So many things to say but I will speak to what was important to us. First the location was very convenient. Located near the Capital, Eastern Market and Metro station made getting around the city easy. The neighborhood was friendly, quiet (for in the city) and just overall nice! Second, the apartment was extremely well kept, clean, comfortable and felt like "home". We had everything we needed for our week long stay. They even had orange juice, muffins and water for the Keurig as well as K-cups!! Lastly, and most important to us was the welcome that we received from Steve and Jeremy. They met us upon arrival and helped to unload our car. Then took the time to show us the apartment and where things were that we would or might need. They also provided us with Metro cards, information about local restaurants, markets and things to see. They then were available if needed. Anyone visiting the DC area you need to stay here!! If we plan another trip to DC and wanted to stay in the city this will be the place we stay. Thank you Steve and family for providing such a warm and nice place to stay.

Location, Location, Location

Our host could not have been more helpful with details of the unit, the neighborhood and things to do and see in DC. After having breakfast each day we left for our daily journey and turned to a place that felt like home. We shall return the next time in DC as we're sold on this wonderful home in Capitol Hill. Beautiful immaculate cozy

Everything was excellent. It was even better than we'd hoped! Perfect location for walking to national mall and lots of restaurants and shops. Quiet upper end neighborhood with lovely townhouses and mature landscaping.
