Great views, nice accommodations
This property is really nice. Modern, clean, and a cool design throughout. The setup of the apartment is great with the full kitchen, balcony, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The view was also incredible as we were on the 39th floor. As an out of towner, I was not that familiar with where this property was located as I did not know much about the east village. While it is only a 10-15 minute walk from the gas lamp there seems to be a massive homeless population that hangs out all around this building and on all the streets that lead to the gas lamp. While we didn’t have any issues as there were always several of us walking together it can definitely get a little sketchy. I’d recommend taking Ubers to and from at night.
We had a bit of issues because no instructions were sent to us. But the owner responded right away , which I appreciated. Very nice building and the apartment. Great location. Would definitely come back if I am ever in a city again. Would recommend.
Amazing place in an up and coming neighborhood
Owners were always very easy to get ahold of for any questions of neighborhood and restaurants.
If its available, i would take it in a heartbeat.
WOW WOW WOW
The views in this place were stunning. i loved the parking garage entrance directly to the apartment.. place was meticulously cleaned and anything extra i wanted or needed, Denise brought right over!
close to the convention center and the Fault Line bar and grill which is attached to the building had the best wings i have ever had
A clean hotel without the amenities and safety features of a hotel.
This is a hotel disguised as a condo without the safety regulations and amenities a hotel has. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER MY ENTIRE STAY AND THE A/C did not work properly during a heat wave. (The shower water was only lukewarm). I reported it repeatedly. The water was fixed the day we were leaving (day 9!!!!) but the A/C we were told was a vendor issue and they were waiting for them. The mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable. The couches were lovely but very uncomfortable and small. The showers were very clean but no grab bars and no bath mats. The showers and bathrooms were as slippery as an ice rink. I had to purchase a bath mat. They were very difficult to get in and out of. The shower head was placed at approximately 90" which is over 7 1/2 feet. Only one in my party was able to reach the shower head which was aimed at the bathroom floor and not the tub. This condo will not really sleep six unless the floor is to your liking. The kitchen was not well stocked. There are enough pans and tools to prepare a simple breakfast but not really a full meal. The exterior is disgusting but that is the fault of the city not the condo owner. The views were gorgeous. My biggest complaint is they only gave us ONE key fob to get INTO the building or elevator. It made it impossible to split up. They gave us three keys to the room but since it was on the 38th floor and the fob operated the elevator having three keys was silly. The pool was very nice. We did notice at one point when we returned the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke since SOMEONE HAD BEEN THERE WHILE WE WERE OUT. The maintenance man came later so we know it was not him. I should have called the police thinking about it now.
Comfortable and Convenient, with Great Hosts
Had some friends visiting from out of town for a birthday weekend, so we decided to book this location for its' convenience. Convenience is an understatement, as this was as prime of a location as you can get for downtown SD. The place was clean and extremely comfortable, the property manager/host was easy to deal with and extremely kind, and the stay could not have been better. Would highly recommend and if we ever need a downtown rental again, this will be our go to spot!
