Charming three bedroom house with fenced backyard. Easy access to the bike path, which can take you to a lovely "beach" on the Roaring Fork River, or into downtown. The neighborhood is very friendly, with a cul-de-sac across the street. Neighborhood school, ball fields, parks and bike paths are all nearby; and a 20 minute drive to Sunlight Mountain Resort, our local ski area adjacent to White River National Forest. Master bedroom includes a queen bed. Additional rooms have two twin beds in one room and a fold-out futon bed in the other. Also, we do not have cable TV service. You can access TV shows through Hulu or Amazon or just enjoy time together on the back porch! Carrie and Paul moved to Glenwood Springs in the mid-90's to start teaching careers; Carrie originally from Iowa, and Paul from Tennessee. The couple converged at UNC while pursuing teaching certification. Ultimately, the mountains and the adventure lifestyle lured them and kept them here in the valley. Will was born in 2005; Eva in 2010 soon after the purchase of this home. Paul is now a licensed professional counselor, and Carrie continues her work in education.

What makes this House unique
We chose this home because of the beautiful lot. The view out back is amazing and the shade under the Aspen trees out front is tranquil in summer. The location is perfect, close to town but far enough from the center to provide quiet and space.

We really enjoyed staying here it was our home away from home!
Good home with great views & amenities
This home was wonderful. There were maps, ideas for what to do around town, bike paths, extra bikes and additional toys for everyone. We ate on the back patio for every meal and although the home does not have AC there was never a time when we felt like we needed one even with the days being 90 degrees outside.
The house was super equipped and in a great location for us. It was great that there were toys for my youngest to play with, and bicycles for the older ones. Can't think of anything negative to say.
Cozy home and nice grassy fenced-in back yard
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and grassy yard with hammocks. Convenient, quiet location, a short drive to town. Carrie, the very nice owner, was reachable by email for questions.
Great place in a beautiful town. House had ton of outdoor supplies including nerf guns which my kids loved. Would stay here again!
Very comfortable home, perfect for families traveling with a dog!
We really enjoyed our stay. He house was very comfortable and casual. We were surprised to find there was no cable and only one small TV. We are from Nashville and wanted to watch the Preds play in the Stanley Cup. We found a couple of great bars in town carrying the game. We did not miss the cable because we stayed busy outdoors. We would definitely pick this house again on a future visit to Glenwood Springs!
