This condominium (Coconut 152) has a remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The whole unit is completely tiled. There is plenty of storage in both the kitchen & dressing area of the bathroom. A large refrigerator holds everything as well as having crushed ice & cold water in the door. The living and dining area has newly purchased furniture with new pics to come. A comfortable king-size bed (with newly purchased mattress) as well as a queen size bed in the sofa sleep up to 4 persons. The dining area easily seats four. From the lanai you can see the ocean while enjoying the garden area. Free wireless internet is available in the room.
The two pools were totally redone with new hot tubs added. Also located on the grounds is the beachside Castaway Restaurant. Whale watching is at a premium right from the beach from December to April. Enjoy the clean, beautiful gas grills in 3 different locations on the property, 2 of which are close by.
Fantastic views of Lanai & Molokai from the beach. Great snorkeling and scuba diving is close by at Black Rock & just north of the property. Enjoy the all sand (no coral or rock) beach & the romantic ocean & sunset views.
Free trolley to the Kaanapali Resort area including Whalers Village which has 60+ shops, restaurants, & a whaling museum. This area is also within walking distance. This condominium cannot be beat for price & location!

Troy is a commercial beekeeper in CA and works with 1800 hives. Susan is a retired children's pastor. After retiring she was "sucked" into the bee business and now works with Troy. They hope to retire in the next few years so they are able to spend more time in Maui as well as with family and helping with various ministries of their church. They live on 10 acres with their dog, Josie, and miniature donkeys. When they are in Maui they enjoy scuba-diving, hiking, visiting with new friends found at MKV and relaxing on our never-crowded beach.

Why Susan chose Kaanapali
We began going to Maui in 1990 with our 2 children and always rented a friends condo at Maui Kaanapali Villas. When we decided to buy a condo not much was available at MKV so we looked around the area but came to the conclusion that there is nothing like MKV out there. We love the old Hawaiian feel as well as the quiet, spacious feel at the resort. It is low-density which we really appreciate and you just can't beat that sandy beach and view!
What makes this Condo unique
There is not another resort like Maui Kaanapali Villas on Kaanapali Beach. It is low density, only 260 units on 12 acres, and has that old Hawaiian feel you just don't find anywhere else. The pools and beach are never crowded - no need to get out there at 6 am to save a lounge chair! And we have met nothing but nice people there! The boardwalk is great for walking north to a grocery store (about a mile) or south 1 mile to Whaler's Village. There is also a free trolley that picks up at our lobby and takes you around the Kaanapali area.

Way Better than the Westin!!!!
We stayed our first 5 nights next door at the Westin! Almost 3 times more expensive and not as nice.
Loved Susan's unit. Straight-on view of each night's sunset. Beautifully appointed and so convenient. Hope to return next year!
Quite a compliment to rate above the Westin! We think we beat the Westin as we are a low density property vs. high density. They do have lovely rooms but not personalized and equipped with all you might need as we can do. We love our view and the sunsets we enjoy when we are there also. Hopefully each and everyone of our guests can return for another stay in paradise!
Lovely condo with everything you could possibly need or want. It was quiet, the ac worked great when needed. Beach gear provided, every kitchen utensil and accessory you can imagine. We loved it and will definitely rent this unit again!

Perfect, wonderful stay
A great accommodation for my wife and I and our two young children. Well stocked with everything we needed, made for a great vacation. Easy close parking, great pools, beautiful landscaped property. This was our first time staying north of Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach, and we really liked it. It’s a little more peaceful and quieter, and there is some nice snorkeling just off shore a little north of the property. We kind of missed being within walking distance of Whalers Village and all the stuff in that area, but there is a free trolley, and the quieter beach is a nice trade off. We will more than likely make this our new go to property when we go to Maui. Highly recommended.
Our guest has mentioned some of our favorite things about our property. Our beautifully landscaped property is a joy to walk through to observe all the tropical plants. We and so many others love this property as it is quiet and low density, thus a quieter beach. Snorkeling just north of us is great and the trolley runs from 10 am to 10 pm so makes it easy to get to Whaler's Village. We hope you make this your go to property also!
Perfect Location in Maui
Wow - what a nice condo and an amazing location. This location has probably the best view on the MKV property due to the vacant lot across the street. I have stayed at MKV three times and this turned out to be the best unit that I have stayed in. From seeing whales from the lanai to having the unit perfectly maintained with every possibly amenity needed for a month long vacation. The neatest thing about Maui is that it is always different - from the sunsets - to the rainbows - to whale watching - to visiting Haleakala on three occasions - I can't wait to return and would definitely recommend this unit. I also had the pleasure of meeting Susan and Troy and cannot say enough good things on how nice they are and how they wish to share their love of Maui with everyone. Thank You.
We appreciate such a glowing review. Unfortunately I gave this guest the wrong link for a review so this review is actually for a unit upstairs from this one. The one the guest stayed in has a full on view of the ocean whereas this one has some view of the ocean although there are 3 trees in the way. As they have grown we have more of a view under the trees so it is getting better!
Great home away from home.
Lahaina was an amazing experience. It was our first time in Maui as a family, which was the most relaxing property we've come to see. Walking distance to the beach, friendly locals and good eats all around. Definitely worth a trip back. Great for honeymoons and family vacations!

Maui Kaanapali Villas is a low density resort located just north of Lahaina on the world famous Kaanapali Beach, which is rated one of the top ten beaches in the United States. The resort is set on 12 acres of beautifully groomed tropical gardens. The beach is a two-minute stroll from the unit. The three pools were just totally redone with new hot tubs added. Also located on the grounds is the beachside Castaway Restaurant. Whale watching is at a premium right from the beach from December to April.

A daily facilities fee of $20.85 is collected at arrival. If staying longer than 2 weeks a mid-stay linen fee of $35 will be charged. Cancellation Policy is all monies paid will be refunded if cancelled more than 60 days from arrival. If cancelled less than 60 days to arrival, all monies paid will be refunded if at least half the dates previously booked are rerented. (Balance is not paid til 30 days to arrival). ASK ABOUT OUR LAST MINUTE (WITHIN 30 DAYS) SPECIALS! At least 7 day rental over Christmas/New Year holidays. We NEVER ask a guest to to wire money via Western Union or another third-party service.
