This is the second time we stayed in this cabin this winter season. We come up there to go snowmobiling and this cabin works out perfect!
Beautiful cabin for family vacation
Cabin was perfect for our annual family snowmobiling trip. Sleeps 8 easily. Close to town, gas, restaurants, groceries and trails. Plenty of space for sleeping, watching tv and cooking. Kitchen is well appointed. Beautiful location on Powell Lake. WiFi worked well for internet, tv and phone. Plenty of space to park.
Beautiful place not far from trail 8. We will be back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Perfect cabin for an UP getaway!
My fiancée and I, along with a small group of friends, stayed for a few days in August.
First, the location was perfect - very convenient to get to downtown Munising (about 15 mins), and only a little longer to access Pictured Rocks and a number of the trails and waterfalls it has to offer.
As for the cabin itself, it was very new and clean. It was well furnished with enough places to sit and sleep and the decorations made it feel incredibly cozy. The beds were also extremely comfortable! The outside includes a small deck with seating and a covered portion with a large propane grill, perfect for making a big meal for a group of 7. Down a slight hill in the back is a larger fire pit with outdoor chairs pressed up against a treeline that provides a lot of privacy and gives it that up north feel.
Carole was accommodating and helpful with any questions I had. Unlike another review I read before we booked, we had no issues with the cleanliness.
We would definitely stay here again in the future!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We really do try to make it a place you want to come back to. (The review you mention, we tried to accommodate, but was unable to please them.) We look forward to your future stay. :-) Believe it or not - winter is gorgeous here too.
Great place to stay!
We stayed for 3 nights. It was great, the cabin looked much nicer than in the posted pictures. Everything was clean and everything we needed was there. It was close to kayaking and hiking and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Even though the cabin is not huge there seemed to be plenty of space for all 7 of us. There is no access to the lake across the street but you can go for walks around it. Definitely recommend it!
Nice modern cabin with all the amenities
