About Vacasa, GA - Savannah Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Charming 2nd Floor Apartment on Bay Street
Perfect location. Walking distance to just about everything and smack in the middle of town, less than a block from River Street and Bull Street. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Took my boyfriend to see the city for his first time and we had a cozy, comfy stay here.
great location and decent amenities
Would rate it 7 or 7.5/10
We love Savannah and always try to come at least once a year. This was a great spot and very central to everything. We got to try some great new restaurants and return to our favorites. The Savannah bee company mead tasting is always a nice treat. Great place. We will stay again for sure!
Great location, furnishings need updates
The pros...the location of this unit is perfect. Right off of Bay Street, you can walk to most of the popular sights in Savannah.
The cons...the furniture needs some serious updates. The mattress in the bedroom is noisy and very bouncy. The living room has 2 armless chairs and a fairly uncomfortable love seat. And there is no TV service (smart TV, you provide the log in for Netflix, etc).
Would have given fewer stars if it weren't for the great location.
Not bad, but not great either
We'll start with the good stuff here as there was some good points about this property. The location is prime. It is right across the street from all the goings on by the river and within a few blocks of the City Market and tons of food and shopping. You can't beat the location for the price. Anywhere else at this type of location and you'll be paying a significant amount more. It did have a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full fridge, laundry, soap shampoo, clean towels and clean linens. The bed was pretty comfortable. That's about where the good ends. And now for the not so good. The apartment is not set up for good function. There is only a love seat and two chairs in the living room area and they are seriously the most uncomfortable things I've sat upon in quite sometime. The love seat is showing some wear too. The TV is capable of streaming Netflix or something but there is zero basic cable access or a local antena. That would've been nice to be able to have that because the wifi was very very spotty which made Netflix viewing a bit difficult. The front door at the main entrance on Bay Street never closed properly which did not give a safe impression. The entry code was irrelevant b/c 90% of the time I could just pull the door open which led to the stairs to the lofts. It was nice having a code, rather than a key, to our loft. One less thing to lose. However, they don't leave instructions on how to operate it (locking it back up for example). That took a few minutes to figure out. There is not an even floor surface in the place, and we found that to be true in Savannah in general. It seems the mud upon which the city is built is slowly wreaking havoc. We realize it's an older home but, stumbling in at 1am a bit tipsy makes navigating around the apartment a bit tricky. You can hear, literally, EVERYTHING in surrounding apartments and hallway. Every time someone came in our out, we heard it clear as day. I heard full conversations in the neighboring loft while sitting in the living room. The living room faces an alley way and you hear......EVERYTHING that goes on in the alley, from resteraunts dumping their trash to the construction workers jackhammering the street at 9 am on a SUNDAY morning...yes...a Sunday. Parking is tricky too. On street parking....you can forget it. Bryan St deck was full almost the entire time so we had to park 3 blocks away by the Pink House restaraunt where there was another deck that was $15/day.
Walking distance to alot of great restaurants and attractions. There is no TV other than Netflix, but we were only there 2 nights so it wasn't an issue. I do hope they fix the lock on the door going to the street soon. Also, I believe a permanent resident there leaves his garbage outside his door all week. Not sure Vacasa can do anything about that. Great bed. No windows so it's really dark. We overslept one morning and almost missed a scheduled tour. There is some construction noise but we could not hear it from the bedroom.
