8 Bedrooms, 7 Baths, Sleeps 25
Talk about family friendly: Emory House will delight kids and adults alike. Less than 10 minutes from Dollywood, the house has its own mini playground, a hot tub, and 2 huge screened-in porches, each of which can accommodate a crowd. In fact, with 8 bedrooms that can sleep up to 25 people, Emory House is ideal for your next reunion, multifamily vacation, or other sizable gathering.
6 of the 8 bedrooms have a king size bed! Most of the 8 bedrooms have their own private bathroom, and all of them include a TV and a ceiling fan to help lull you to sleep. Six bedrooms feature a king-size bed, making them tailor-made for couples.
A 5th bedroom has a daybed in addition to a king-size bed, so that it’s well suited for a couple with a young child. The loft bedroom has a king-size bed too, along with a queen-size bed and 2 twin beds, enabling it to accommodate an entire family of 6. Another bedroom also sleeps 6, in a pair of bunk beds with trundles. The kids in your group can make this their quarters—every night will seem like a slumber party.
The 8th bedroom features a pair of twin beds and an en-suite bathroom that has been modified for those with mobility issues; it includes a low-threshold shower with a large built-in seat, grab bars, and a portable shower chair. In fact, both the main level and the lower level are wheelchair accessible from outside, and along the back of the house is a wheelchair-accessible balcony that’s 25’ long and 5.5’ deep.
As befits a home that can sleep 25, Emory House has 2 large living areas. The main floor’s open-plan living/dining/kitchen space includes 2 ample leather couches, perfect for watching a favorite movie on the flat-screen TV. Its 2 tables can easily seat 10 people; their barrel chairs are so comfortable, once you sit down you may never want to get back up.
Another comfortable gathering space is the downstairs den. Here you’ll find another leather couch to sprawl out on and another flat-screen TV, along with inviting armchairs and a card table. The den has its own wet bar, complete with a mini fridge and a microwave, so you don’t have to interrupt your poker game or Monopoly marathon to run upstairs for drinks and snacks.
Given how many restaurants are just a short drive away—choose from Mexican, Chinese, Cuban, Italian, seafood, steak, pizza, and more—you probably won’t be eating in much. But when you do, you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal, as well as a charcoal grill outside.
And speaking of outside, wait till you see Emory House’s 2 porches. Each is screened in so that you can enjoy the woodland views and the crisp mountain breeze without being pestered by flying insects. Both decks have a wealth of chairs, so everyone can hang out together, and ceiling fans to keep you cool on even hot summer afternoons. The main level’s porch includes a table for playing games or setting up a buffet in time to watch the sunset; the lower porch houses a hot tub where you can soothe your weary muscles at the end of an action-packed day.
For the kids, Emory House has a special treat: a private playground. The fenced-in space includes an old-fashioned merry-go-round, a jungle gym, and a 10-foot slide. And parents, you can rest easy: The ground is covered with rubber mulch for safe landings.
If you can tear the little ones away from the playground, you’ll find plenty more to do just a few minutes away. In less than 10 minutes you can drive to Dollywood, Splash Country, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens. Only a few minutes farther are the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks, a huge outlet mall, and numerous dinner theaters. Even the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a true must-visit, is less than a half-hour away.
Many getaways promise something for everyone. Emory House actually delivers. So book your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!

This was a really nice home and plenty of room. We were a basketball team that had 6 families stay here with plenty of room. It was clean and we love the screened deck. Also not too far up in the mountains.
Tawanna, thank you for staying with us. We hope the basketball team had a successful tournament. We are glad you enjoyed Emory House.
Beautiful nice home quiet place to stay it was just the location of the home
Thank you Capricia for choosing to stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Lots of space to sleep!
Easy but it turned out to be wayyy more expensive than I anticipated. The Emory house was more than adequate as far as bedrooms went however, the living space was way too small for the house. I also thought the kitchen space was very small and very out of date when compared to some of the renovations who h have been done on the rest of the house!
Hello Debra, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are happy you found Emory House sleeping space more than adequate. Your input, and all our guest feed back are vitally important to us as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We have passed along your suggestions to the owner. We look forward to having you stay with us in the near future.
My family had a great time at Emory House this weekend. It is a great location not too high up and close to everything. The house was nice lots of bedrooms, some of the beds were not so comfy like the twin beds and bunks and the living room is kinda small, but other than that this place is great. Plenty of room to park, the check-in/out process is so easy. We had a great time spending a few days together. It snowed while were were there and everything was simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing your home with us we look forward to staying here again next year!
Thank you for taking time to review our property. Debbie, we are so pleased you were able to make Christmas memories at the Emory House. We look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smoky Mountains.
The home was really nice and had many amenities but the cleaniness was lacking. There was rotten food left under the beds and just needed a little more cleaning. Nice place to stay but a little hard to get too.
Hello Engelbert. Thank your for sharing your stay with us. It is our goal to meet and exceed our guest expectations upon arrival. We apologies that the house was not as clean at it should have been. We hope you will stay with us again in the near future.
This was for a youth group trip with our church. House is super clean, newly referbished, and SUPER spacious. Cost is really good for size and you can beat the convenience of the location. Definitely will be staying here again!
James, thank you for staying with us and finding Emory House an awesome place. Thank you taking the time to share and we look forward to having you stay with us again on your next trip to the Smokies.
