Beautiful remodeled chalet with oversized hot tub & community pool

"Our Favorite Place" Beautiful, fresh and clean, remodeled 2018, 2 bedroom/2.5 bath chalet with upgraded amenities and no carpet for your comfort. No pets or smoking! Gorgeous 180 degree views from over-sized hot tub of Mt LeConte and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. In convenient and quiet location yet private around back on deck with hot tub and incredible mountain views. Clock and towel hooks beside hot tub for your convenience. When you arrive you will notice the new siding and windows that were installed in 2017.

Inviting den with mountain views, high ceilings with wood beams & stone wood burning fireplace. Equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player, Charter cable with movies and all major sports channels, landline phone, board games/cards. Gorgeous all leather sofa and two side chairs for your comfort.

Kitchen/dining room open to den with more gorgeous views of the mountains. You can enjoy the view from the dining room table that seats 4 guests. All new Kenmore Gold appliances just installed during remodel. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare a full meal. We purchased all new kitchen aide blender, toaster, CoffeMate coffee maker, and mixer for your use. There is even kitchen spices to make your meals just like home.

2 bedrooms with king size furniture/ bedding in 2017. 1 bedroom has flat screen TV with DVD player but no cable. Each have access to their own private remodeled baths. 1 bath has a full size bath tub/ shower combo and the second bath has a small shower. I have had more than one guest call and ask where to get the mattresses we have because they are so comfortable! I even have purchased them for my personal home.

Newly finished daylight basement with glass door and 2 full size windows completed in 2018. It contains a media area that has 55 inch flat screen TV with Charter cable & DVD player, kids play area and half bath, and a fold down sofa that converts to full size bed. Kids play area has kids table and chairs, books, coloring books, games, baby dolls and play kitchen. Washer and dryer also located in basement. This has outside access only! No stairs to basement inside house.

Minutes from community seasonal pool with club house equipped with air hockey, pool table, kitchenette, banquet tables, bathrooms and showers. Pool usually opens May 1st. Club house and pool are nothing fancy but my kiddos still enjoy it.

Only 4 steps to enter the chalet. However, there is a staircase to basement. Outdoor charcoal grill in 2017. Easy level parking for 2 cars. Nice paved roads. No 4-wheel drive needed. HOA scrapes roads after the snow fall finishes.

When you come to see the colorful trees in the fall you will also find pretty fall decorations inside.

Come enjoy holidays by the Christmas tree and crackling fireplace. Beautiful Christmas decorations abound.


Convenient access to bypass downtown Gatlinburg /Pigeon Forge traffic and arrive in Sevierville if you want to avoid the traffic. Easy access to get to Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Dollywood, hiking, golf, skiing, white water rafting, horse back riding and lots of other outdoor activities. Only 2.5 miles to grocery, gas, eating places, urgent care and more.

Be sure and visit the hospitality link for our chalet. I have spent many hours preparing this information and it contains your key code for the key lock box. It is very useful. For the hikers I have all the trails listed by easy, moderate and hard.

Methods of payment: We accept credit cards through the secure site with HomeAway/VRBO. After you book we will email you a confirmation letter and will need 1/2 of rent to be received 3 days from making the reservation and the balance to be paid not less than 15 days before arrival. We require 60 days minimum for cancellations in order to receive a full refund minus the reservation fee that VRBO charges.

2 or 3 night minimal stay depending on time of year. We also consider monthly rental during February, please call for rates. GPS may not work in the mountains, specific directions provided.

About Amy Conner

My profile picture was made at the largest saIt and pepper museum in the US a couple of miles from our chalet. I am a retired Registered Nurse who worked with cardiac patients and with dementia residents for 23 years. My husband is retired from the Army and from pharmaceutical sales. We have 4 children from college age to middle school age. We love to come to Gatlinburg and plan to move to the area when all our children are grown. We pride ourselves on keeping our home in excellent condition. I personally stay at our home at least every 6 to 8 weeks and perform any maintenance needed and ensure our guests have everything they need to make their stay comfortable. We have 3 dogs of our own but we board them and do not bring them to our chalet. We know many people have severe allergies and no amount of cleaning can remove all pet dander. We love our guests and are looking forward to building repeat guests.

Professionally decorated. Very fresh and clean with no carpet. This chalet is kept immaculate.

I’ve seen em all! Cabins with names like Bear Cozy, Bear Den, Woozy Woozy but this one has been our favorite.

Can you get a better....not for this price!

Owners anticipates your every need. From toothpaste to dishwashing detergent, Amy has it. Plenty of space with 2 large rooms on the main floor each with king beds. My ol lady loved the King bed!

Open layout in kitchen and living room to a freshly finished basement with a 3rd bath.

We made use of the fireplace (Be sure to bring your own wood) and the Hot tub (Privacy fence up to block neighbors view)

Such a quick drive to everything, bottom of the mountain you go left to a grocery store or go right for a short ride to downtown Gatlinburg.

Owner stayed in touch leading up to my check in and was ready to meet my needs if I ever made a call.

We will be back to Gatlinburg.....and we are staying here when we do!

Beautiful views!

We loved our stay! The condo was very clean and we had everything at our disposal! Amy thought of everything! The views off the deck were so beautiful! I can’t say enough about the beauty of the surroundings! We did a girls weekend and it was perfect!! The location was great and we could get to all the attractions with no issues. We would come back and stay again!!

Great view

The house was perfect. Very cozy and relaxing. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us when we arrived late at night. Just the right distance from the noise of town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view

The name is spot on as it will continue to be our favorite place. The Chalet had everything we could possibly need, was very clean, and safe for our 1 year old to run around. The view was the reason we picked it and it is breathtaking especially from the hot tub. We will be staying here again on our return trips to Gatlinburg

Very nice with view

Great time in an older updated chalet. We have stayed in a lot of cabins over the last several years. This was by far the cleanest by far. Very nice, I walked around in white socks and they stayed white. Smell was clean we just loved it. Great view secluded feel yet close to town. This is now our Favorite place. Accurate descriptions & pics, attention to detail was fabulous! Wonderful property, great location!

Awesome location 5 minutes from city center. Well prepared property with an awesome available and attentive host. We had never VRBO-ed before, and were a bit uncertain about the whole thing, but she was great and her directions and attention to detail were fabulous. The view from the porch is expansive and breathtaking. Truly a gem!

Car: necessary

We are 3.4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. Traveling from Pigeon Forge heading South on the 441/321 Parkway take a left at light #3 in downtown Gatlinburg. If your coming North up 441 through downtown Gatlinburg you will take a right at light #3 in downtown Gatlinburg. From light # 3 go 1.4 miles on 321 East Parkway. You will pass Mad Dog Cremery & Donuts on your left and just past that you will see the Little House of Pancakes. You will then come up to light 2A. Turn left at light 2A onto Ridge road (Sevier County Bank is on left at light), go approx 100 yards and turn right onto Cartertown Road, follow Cartertown Road for 1 mile, you will pass Cartertown Baptist church on the left, you will turn left shortly past the church onto East Foothills Drive. Go 0.9 miles up the mountain continuing on East Foothills Drive, our chalet will be at the top of the mountain on the right. "Our Favorite Place" sign is on our chalet.
